2025 we are now live we're going to try to see if this is coming through right

now how you doing I'm frisking your

here oh yeah all right let's see the live stream is

working we couldn't do any last night how we

doing how we doing there we go all right here we go it's working all

right okay we are in I am actually going to let me send

let me send uh a message really quick all right let's see are we back all

right let's see are we back good good good good

good okay I'm going to hop over here and we're going to get this stream

started okay peace up mans 2025 get to a lay of the land we're over

in the vendor area so vendor area is over here pavilion's here and then back

over here we have all the vans and we're going to show those in just a

second um so what we're going to do now is

we're just going to do a brief update on our Texas build that gadian Lone Star

now this is a build in progress uh to get it ready for the show um we've got the entire roof

finished as far as uh the main components is the AC and the

solar so we're just going to start from the top and come on down we got 350 WTS

of Renegy solar up top we've got a 48 volt vellet rooftop AC it's doing great

cuz it is hot today we've got all of our wire penetrations complete so we have

two more things that are coming up here we have our starlink connection so this is going to go to a starlink roof mount

that's going to be right here we are going to be installing a Max fan right here in in the middle we were just

waiting for this uh starlink frame to come in to make sure we can align the max fan where it needs to

go now the whole entire Roof System and Ladder is from a company called Flatline

vanco as well as the spare tire carrier uh really like those products that's her

little logo if you've ever seen that little fire um really nice okay let's check out an update of

this build we have our strobe light up here so the

owners of this van also do um roadside inspections uh of bridges believe it or

not and this is going to be like a mobile office SL fun rig Adventure rig

allinone so we've got to power that so if we walk in uh let's talk about the

roof so I need to pause the live stream one

second all one so we've got the power there so if we walk in uh

let's I'm live streaming in the van um so okay here's the roof so the ceiling

is complete we got a uh Marathon fabric interior ceiling

we're using the go code Overland kit for the front of the

van as well as the go cod Overland trim kit for the back of the van so it really

cleans all this stuff up and looks really nice it is very detailed which I

like we completed the exterior uh the rear door as far as insulating sound

dead deadening um and upholstering so both of these panels are complete back

here now we did not fabric wrap the interior panels because we still have some work to do and uh due to time con

St of getting this thing ready to bring to the show uh we did get the kitchen Galley in we still got to get the

sink um but the back of this van is going to have a dinette set system over

here on the right and the left that folds out into a bed you're going to have 66 in of room over here to lay down

this way and then you'll have 72 in this way now this is not the floor the final

floor going in the van this is temporary uh just to protect the base floor which

has a uh special coating on it to accept the lawn seal flooring so this is just

some Marine vinyl that I had in the shop rolled it out it's not glued out or anything but I do like it it's really

cool you can actually use this to make uh protective mats for your floor so for

example say we have our nice lawn sill floor in and we want to protect it from dirt gravel you can buy this and then button

snap it on top of your lawn sill floor so that it protects it

um so Jim and Linda if you're interested in that shoot me a text because this is

basically already pre-cut out for your your van um so you can lay this down

protect it when you're working then you can unsnap it as one big rug take it out

of your van dust it off clean it and then you have a nice pristine uh

floor um we got our moon boxes up here so rubber Vans uh sell these they're

called Vander Moon boxes and they are so nice um so these things fit very well

inside the van uh one attention to detail that

really goes into these type of builds is spacing so that everything looks correct

so imagine planning for all the lights and circuitry planning for for where the

rooftop AC is going to actually lay out in your van and then being considerate of the spacing between a storage box

your light and the AC unit so that when you get when it all comes together

everything looks very cohesive now what's nice about these roof panels is they're panels so when

this gets back to the shop this panel in the middle will be easily removed we'll cut the max fan hole out

pop everything back back in and we're all set to go now benefit of the ABC rig

system that I'm using so here is a little tag so ABC rig is these this panel system that I'm using in the van

these top panels look just like these Baltic Birch panels they just been

wrapped uh in the shop we've upholstered them here's the benefit these slots are

made into the Baltic Birch and we have the stainless steel washer and nut and

so what I do in in the Vans is I do a little extra step and I add these where these roof ribs are so if you wanted to

hang um let's just say like some bananas or a basket of fruit or you wanted to

you know hang up some clothes or have some type of line coming from the back um not only are they here but they're

actually what is holding up this whole entire uh

system again uh go code Overland is what cleans up the front of this van this is

a very challenging part of the van to design in upholster um because if you

can look here that kit makes this a clean

transition so you got this clean transition uh which makes it much easier to install as opposed to in the past

where I've had this panel have to be Force flexed down and curved and it just

really uh you get very close to splintering the panel so this is the

new product that I like to go with and I'm really happy with

it um this TV obviously not part of the

build but this is uh we are live streaming right now which is pretty cool and uh you guys can

see live stream to the TV uh we're doing that via starlink I got a starlink mini

that is right out here now the couple

has the bigger version so I have a mini they have the bigger one so on the roof

they're actually going to have the same one and it's going to be bolted into the 8020 rails on top of the roof so um

that's going to be really cool we're going to have two Lagoon tables that you can move from the front

to the back of the van we've got this uh from Panther RV they sell a bamboo

Lagoon table comp um van hos is a company that uh makes

this bamboo uh lagon table melt I've bought I

can't I don't know maybe six of these and this is the one I finally enjoy this one uh you need this surface area right

here so that when you bolt it down this doesn't flop around and wiggle um so

this is extremely sturdy uh the ones that are just the size of the lon Mount I don't recommend

getting them I recommend getting that both of the seats in this van swivel we've got our Flatline vanco

kitchen Galley with a custom bamboo backing that I put on it it's 3/4 in uh

very very strong you got room down here for your sink underneath your sink this

is going to be actual additional storage for these guys and also include the hot water

tank me grab some water get a little dry here one

second okay so one thing we're doing is we've pre-plumbed this shower that's

going to go here so behind the driver's seat we're going to have a Tetra van shower that folds down and so everything

in this van had to be baked in the flooring so so all the wiring that you see um again this is just temporary to

show off the ecoflow system for the show so we just have this all temporarily mounted so that people can understand

what the system does this is a ton of power I'm telling you guys this will run

this 408 volt AC for 2 days so um at 67% battery what are we down to

now we are down to uh

63% so at 63% battery this will run 18

hours uh which is pretty amazing um but yeah so I wanted to show

I I have this set up like this because the uh you won't see this this will be all

hidden so when people come to a van show everything's already finished and clean

and it's hard to get an understanding of just what is behind the scenes so this is like a perfect opportunity to do that

so we have two 5 KW ecoflow battery packs here they're 48

volts this is the main Hub again this will be hidden never seen but this is

doing all the work for us we have our one and two alternator inputs there

is only one alternator in here but what I've done is I've doubled up these circuits so that I get 60 amps plus 30

amps into this unit and then they're just neatly right here coming out of the

the van with these two wires um the cool thing is you can independently turn

these off if you want them charging or not this next one is our solar input

again we have 350 WTS of solar up top uh got a little bit of cloud cover right

now so we've only got 100 watts of solar coming

in um but look we've generated 696 wat hours today just from the Sun and then

you can see here I can toggle on alternator charging if I wanted to or I can toggle it

off um just an update Jim and Linda are watching this uh what's really cool

about taking the van getting it on the road and like stretching its legs is

interesting thing about this 2025 Ford Transit so when I'm sitting here and I'm

just warming the van up to run it I noticed that the Ford will run the van

for about 15 minutes and then it will say hey um we need to like turn

off so what's nice about ecoflow is to resolve that uh caution is

all I did was turn the alternator off alternator charging so I simply these

were on the van was saying hey the engine is

charging this system and we're not driving down the highway at a uh an RPM

that Ford would like or what makes them happy so when you're just sitting in a

parking lot hanging out maybe having lunch and the van's just idling um all you got to do just toggle the uh

alternator inputs off everything's happy Ford's happy and fan Run's great so

that's what's nice about ecoflow this is is very independent um say you needed to replace a fuse on the solar panel you

can turn it off turn it back on um you can also control your outputs

so AC is going to be all of your circuits in the van household circuits DC is

going to be all your lighting so for example lights are on and if I go here you get six circuits

from ecoflow where you can independently turn them off and that's via your phone or this

wall panel so that's all working um we can see how much power we use today there's

just ton just a ton of information um got a nice system

screen so right now at the current draw so with the TV

on uh charging cell phones um the lighting on this van can run for for

three day for 4 days so let's do a quick

test um with the AC unit so AC is working great it's a vellet 48 volt AC

we're just going to turn it on full blast cold as it can

be uh this unit does display in Celsius um at the moment so I

haven't changed it um so let's check this out you unit is

off and we are pulling 96 Watts so watch

this the compressor is going to get ready to turn

on and you can see we go all the way up

to probably 550 Watts I think is what we were pulling

okay so the AC is running and this is live it's very

quiet the unit up top is extremely quiet 408 volt units are are quiet in my

opinion get back over here and let's check this out so 580 Watts so let's see if it can give us

a real time so we went from 4 days of battery to now we have 13 hours

so this is what's really nice that's 13 hours at 63% so imagine if this was at

100% would have much more time so in that respect P about 600

watts technically on paper we should be able to run this AC for 2

days um and obviously that's with it cycling on and off but yeah so that's a

quick overview of this e flow um I'm going

to turn on this live stream really quick there we go yeah so that's a this way

people can see what I'm doing at the [Music] show all

right turn this off so all you do to turn it off is just hold the red button

down a short passess of the red button will turn the display off for nighttime long press for about three seconds is

gonna turn the unit off turn this off turn hold the red button

down now let's get into the show all right so over

Vans I haven't met those guys yet so uh might do that later Defiance tools we've

done two interviews with them um we did the save Expo when we did

uh peace L Vans 2 years ago

um live more Camper vans we just did a walkr of them yesterday little

interview and by the way if you go to Van life Outfitters uh each day I'm

making a 25-minute highlight reel for these guys and that's allowing us to

uh there we go Trevor and the crew hey

barbecue the line is huge

nans mobile solar Consulting bunch of other

shops man that line for the barbecue I'm starving right now I had Jersey kebabs

yesterday really nice if you guys are on Carnivore man this is the vendor to go see it's just bunch of meat and some

rice but it's very very

good these guys are look solid thankfully it became overcast it has

been very sunny in the best

way okay I got about 30% battery life so let's see how much I can live stream

with you guys

today Justin with Moxy Vans did an interview with them the other

day all right we're going to go to the Pavilion and the

stage um I'm going to check that out and then we're going to go go down the rows

and look at all the Vans just to show you how many Vans are

at this

event hello

all right so over here at the

Pavilion so right here if you guys want to attend this event this is kind of like that the communication Hub you know

this is where if you need questions uh they do sell ice which is nice and then one of the

uh there's Josh on the radio working the

event victron so now that it's overcast people

are really coming out just relaxing it's

lunchtime got live music starting later tonight

um also there are breakout sessions where you can do workshops so this tree is called the

talking tree so there are uh different professionals vendors

that come out here to help educate on every everyone

on Van questions from buying selling an RV uh

Electrical uh I think these guys are YouTubers I have not met them

over here we got the leafy Lounge so that's a place where you can hang out there's s'mores fire pit it's a lot of

fun

I'm going to guys there are hundreds and hundreds

of hands I think they said maybe 500 this

year so I'm going go all the way down the end of the row so this is in Dade City Florida the

name of the park is with Luchi River Park so it's once a year this time of

year um and it's great it's a really great

event uh as I'm interviewing the uh vendors at the event I always ask

them like one question and that is you know what what do you like so much about this event and they say and I agree that

for us vendors it just feels feels very relaxed like we feel like we're hanging out too and it's not like a you know

high pressure um time constraint type setup where we're just driving hours

setting up showing Vans off and then just leaving quickly this day this event

um so I'll walk down this one and talk to you guys so this event for example

uh change this up there you go so this event for example I come in Thursday afternoon uh

all the vendors set up so it's a Time For Us vendors to hang out together talk

hang out talk business um before everybody gets gets here and then Friday

is the first day it's like a half day uh everybody comes in at 11:30 and

then uh you know all these all these people are getting set up so it's a lazy

day you know it's like a setup day if you can make it out Friday Saturday is like today it's the big day where full

schedule workshops you know meeting up for coffee doing yoga in the morning um

that sort of thing and uh yeah that's pretty much that here is

a big here's a big picture of kind of how long this this road is right

here um there's only two two rows left I'm not sure if there's any more people

that are going to be coming in to Camp um but I mean there's already

there's already so many people I mean it doesn't matter if you have an old van new van you know a fancy

Storyteller van uh even a school bus um

you know everybody's everybody's welcome the event lasts uh until

tomorrow and that's a full day tomorrow so nobody will leave or uh nobody's

scheduled to leave until Monday and so we have Monday until 11:00

a.m. to pretty much leave the property uh the

park um couple of details if you guys are interested in this

event uh you know they lock the gate at night it's secure there's no In-N-Out

traffic um after 600 p.m. they do a temporary gate open opening at like 7:30

and 9 uh but that is it so you don't have

people you know coming and going everybody kind of stays put

um there are the day ticket holders that have come through and that's where we're

headed now so I'm going to go wide really

quick so right over here is where we've all been hanging out over here on the left uh right side

we've got uh the only thing way I can explain this

is this is the Overflow so this was not their last year uh there are so many

fans this year I'm going to have to ask Josh what the number came

to um but yeah really really

nice I'm very glad that it's overcast I was about to get a pretty bad

sunburn uh yesterday um cuz like I said earlier I'm

also filming for the event I'm doing a 25 minute highlight reel showcasing the event each day and that is live stream
