hey everyone welcome to the live stream tonight uh we got an excited exciting live stream tonight because the Forum is
2:32
alive we have a really good post um in the Forum uh if you don't know we put a
2:39
forum on the website uh van Builder hq.com so if you go there
2:45
um go to the top menu bar click Forum there is a forum to discuss van
2:52
build ideas now if you want to access and ask questions on the
2:58
Forum this is part of the new camper van conversion blueprint so this is my new
3:04
DIY camper van conversion course so when you purchase the course you get access to this private online
3:11
community which is the Forum now you can look at what questions have been
3:17
answered um just going to the website in general but if you want to participate and be a part of the CT of the uh
3:24
Forum um all you got to do is grab the camper van conversion blueprint click down here access for 50
3:30
bucks and I'm going to quickly go over what is in this course if you guys don't know so this is a deep dive into how to
3:38
build a DIY camper van so I go over a couple key parts of building a camper
3:43
van one is just introducing you to the course uh we start off with choosing your van new or used two wheel drive
3:51
four-wheel drive things to consider we go over design and layout uh
3:57
considerations um flooring install and there's two install videos actually
4:03
so there's one that we did on the YouTube and then I have a uh six part install series that we did on John and
4:10
Susan's FS a little bit more in depth I upgraded kind of my processes and materials that I used or
4:17
techniques and then we have installation and sound dampening next we have off-grid power
4:24
system design so this is going over how to size your system properly talking about Concepts and stuff like that and
4:30
then also going over um the uh the products and how a power
4:37
system is kind of made like what all the parts do and how they function so you kind of learn about that then we get
4:43
fresh and gray water systems and then we end it with exterior accessories and by
4:49
the way the fresh and gray systems uh Gray Water Systems we talk about Plumbing too so like PEX a plumbing
4:55
fittings uh under mount tanks um and then exterior access accessories is the fun part where we go
5:01
over uh roof racks Tire carriers stuff like that so if you guys are interested
5:06
you can pick it up fuer hq.com and all you got to do is click on course up at
5:12
the top access and click I want this over
5:20
here all right so let's get into the main part of the live stream today so we're going to be talking about a
5:26
question that was posted to The Forum and and it's a great question because this exactly what I want to see
5:32
kind of flowing in here um so the question is uh there's a new van Builder
5:39
asking for some advice with uh more info to follow and what they're talking about is they're getting ready to do a camper
5:45
van build um so I'll just go ahead and read off uh what they have here so the post
5:52
is by uh tww Transit hey everybody I'm a new member still figuring out how to do certain things on this forum um yeah
6:00
don't worry I will throughout the week update you on how to post and stuff like
6:05
that uh and what I'm going to do with this video is reference it in this post
6:10
um with all the answers to it um so he's waiting on uh or they're
6:17
waiting on a new Ford Transit high top extended van to arrive uh they have a
6:23
preliminary layout of the Interior that has been evolving for the past months um and they're going to upload a PDF after
6:29
this form which is really cool I really encourage any type of photos or PDFs about van building on here to help it
6:36
help everyone uh kind of get an idea of what you're building and then at the same time give you some opinions on you
6:43
know what direction you might want to go or some options and that that's pretty much what I'm going to do today is I'm going to use this these two questions
6:48
that he has I'm going to reference some videos that I've made that I think will help answer the
6:54
question um so
6:59
yeah a couple of different couple of features that are different from okay so the main two things I'm going to go over
7:05
in this video are uh they want to have a lift style bed mounted just behind the driver passenger area uh neither I or my
7:12
wife are very tall 56 52 and I think we can make the bed so that we can both stand under it when it's raised so I'll
7:19
talk about bed options number two a shower pan will be installed on a slightly raised floor in
7:26
the rear of the van with a gray water tank installed in the spare Tire area uh
7:31
certain a curtain will hang from the ceiling to surround the shower area uh we do not want a dedicated
7:37
shower and then at the bottom um as soon as I have the PDF uh of the layout ready
7:45
I'll upload it so you guys have a better idea of what I would like to do and you can comment on things I would need to
7:51
consider or warnings about what may be wrong with the layout or and what problems I may encounter so that's
7:58
perfect this is exactly what the form designed for to answer those questions and
8:03
um yeah so to start off besides downloading
8:11
stuff uh yeah start off um just heads up I
8:16
just got back from Overland Expo East uh it was very nice the weather was amazing
8:22
uh I just went for one day to film kind of just do a little tour of the Vans
8:28
uh got to see Glacier camping uh van customers there so they look like
8:33
they're having a great time um and then also uh met with some Builders um Roman
8:42
for ventur Customs I got to meet him and see his new adventure van buildout which is really cool and uh so those two
8:49
things will be in the video coming up here pretty shortly but this is this is awesome this
8:56
is exactly what I want to talk about so let's a lift style bed mounted just
9:04
behind the passenger area so the first thing that I think of when I think of a lift mounted bed is I've gone through so
9:11
many different uh conversations about um in Thomas's van which is the
9:18
Marine One build that I did it had we wanted to do a lift bed um with either
9:24
pneumatics or some type of something like a
9:31
like a standing desk type structure um
9:36
and it got complicated in that van build because we had to uh we really didn't
9:43
have the space for it to operate so I'm going to pull up
9:48
the the pad here and we can actually kind of I'll draw out
9:53
um I'll draw out what we are what the challenge was so anybody that's join in
9:59
the chat we've got a question or a post from a user on the Forum and they're
10:06
doing a van build we got two questions we're going to ask tonight one is talking about lift style mounted bed and
10:12
then a shower pan in the
10:23
floor so if I asse if I open up my little drawing notes Here
10:33
and by the way when we were on the stream tonight if you guys have any questions um feel free to ask those
10:38
questions while we're drawing and uh talking about vans so Thomas's van was
10:46
a 148 Transit and this
10:53
uh these guys are looking to for a extended van so a high top high top
11:02
extended for Transit so in Thomas's
11:07
van besides the wheel wells and uh by the way uh he had a wheelchair that that
11:14
he was using within the van so we really focused on making a lot of room in order
11:20
to maneuver through the van so we wanted to do a raising uh a
11:26
bed that would raise and lower in the rear of the van but once we installed the over the wheel
11:33
well water tank um relocated the AC which this question
11:42
probably doesn't that probably has nothing to do with it um we did the
11:48
power system and then we installed or
11:55
reinstalled his wheelchair lift
12:00
and I'll show you in Red so this was the area that we were trying to install this electrical
12:10
bed and let's let me see if I can pull up an example of
12:16
one I'm not saying this is not possible I'm just saying talking about the reasons we didn't go with a uh lifting
12:25
bed um so Lippert makes the euroloft smart
12:37
bed and um but you can purchase it through Wilderness
12:42
bands and this is what the kit consist
12:50
of and the reason that we did not go with this bed uh for Thomas was we we
12:57
just the van we needed to make make sure um everything was very simple design so
13:03
there was no possible failure so you know if he needed to get out of the bed in an emergency or uh you know lift the
13:11
bed up um we were really relying on a motor to do
13:16
that and uh so what we decided to go with is a Murphy bed but since I had
13:21
this pulled up right now I'll stay on this topic of the lift beds um cuz I'm
13:27
not for one or the other every Van's different and your application is going to be different as
13:33
well so um but what I uh I think this is a great
13:39
idea but you need to make sure that you think of the bed as the in this case as
13:46
the first th part of your design and layout so I'm going to reference these
13:51
little tabs in the course here um not as a sales thing just strictly to
13:57
show you that if if you want to learn more in depth you can I can it's referenced in
14:04
here so for example when I talk about um having a system like this be the focal
14:10
point of your build is because these uh structural um wish I got a photo that
14:16
doesn't move there you go you have these structure structural bars and cross
14:22
these members that allow the bed to lift up and down and support the weight as well as the ones in the back
14:29
and um that just needs to be in Taken consideration when before you get
14:36
anything almost like you need to mock up the bed in there to make sure it's going to fit with your cabinets and walls um
14:44
for example if the uh Forum of if tww
14:50
Transit wanted to put this in their van we see that this is designed to be
14:56
mounted at the back with this uh crossmember so on a Ford Transit this
15:02
crossmember is very structural structural structural sound I can't talk tonight
15:10
um because it is part of the van's chassis or unibody so it's a very strong
15:17
member extremely difficult to drill through but the good news is it's a great support point so that's why they
15:23
have these uh seat belt style supports mounted to the back of the van here
15:32
uh and then this and this just kind of my guidance opinions but they want it just behind the driver
15:40
passenger area this tells me that these rails would be closer to the almost
15:46
right up against the driver and passenger um I'm excited to see what tww
15:51
TR has as far as the PDF that shows their layout because maybe it'll give me a better idea um but I'm just kind of uh
15:58
RI on this right now just to uh give some examples of what they
16:04
might be thinking of and it's fun to do so these rails would be at the front um
16:11
but as you can you kind of see that if you were using this system it starts to get kind of hairy so my recommendation
16:17
is you stick with how these beds are put in to 99.9% of the van vehicles and that
16:23
is mounted like this in the back typically that middle area between
16:29
the driver and passenger is going to be for kitchen Galley additional seating fridge freezer uh additional storage
16:37
that sort of thing so you can see um how this is working
16:48
out um this particular bed now the seat belts do hold the
16:54
weight so if you wanted to kind of have almost like a bunk bed and have this closer to the top that would work um but
17:01
what I see most Builders do is build these cabinets out in the back which is typically water storage or an electrical
17:09
system and allow the bed to just rest on it so it keeps the bed from swing
17:15
because it's obviously held up by seat belt material essentially so it keeps it
17:21
stationary solid um it just makes it more comfortable to sleep um unless you like a swinging bed
17:28
but you know that's for you if you want to have like a little bunk bed up here but the nice part
17:35
about um a bed like this is or what's attractive to PE mostly to people who
17:42
want this is it goes all the way to the top and you don't have to build an additional Murphy bed structure out to
17:49
encase the frame and the mattress itself so um I wonder if I go to
18:01
I'm not sure if I have these pictures so I'm going to my website to
18:06
see if I got these pictures in their
18:20
projects okay so this is Thomas's van and I kind of emulated the way that
18:27
these uh bamboo pieces are so the DIY version that I did
18:32
was I went to Ikea and I bought the Ikea slats and then what I did with them
18:39
is somehow I just happen to have it right here beside me but I took these slats and I cut off the uh The netting
18:48
on each side and then I cut this to the length that I need and that way when I put it in between the 8020 you've got
18:54
that Flex or like that spring spring like uh
19:01
functionality um but Thomas is uh bed system was uh it's straightforward there's no
19:09
there's no uh motor to fail or anything like that there's not even gas struts in here what I used is uh these spring
19:18
hinges and if you go to the Forum you can actually go and I answered a
19:23
question on that so if I go to
19:31
uh are springloaded hinges affected for Murphy bed and a camper so I answered that down here gave you a link to the
19:37
video where I talk about it and also gave you uh a part and model number if
19:44
you guys want to find those Springs that I used so that in this forum post that's the exact Springs that I
19:50
used um so I used five I used uh yeah five of these heavy duty fire door
19:57
closers um and then I just maxed out the springs and it doesn't keep it from slamming
20:03
down what it does is it just helps helps you guide it down with less weight um so that's what we did and then
20:12
up top we used an 8020 lock and then a 8020 um kind of like supporting pen over
20:18
here and that was designed so that it wouldn't rattle it's
20:25
like a backup um and what Thomas needed to hear what standing is uh there's another view
20:32
of the bed so another reason we couldn't put the structure oh yeah let me finish my
20:38
thought so this is for something called a paragolfer so it's a motorized golf cart um or motorized wheelchair that's
20:46
used for golfing and it goes right here so he was driving it in and out behind this with
20:52
his big ramp and that's why I need the Murphy bed but you see the Murphy bed comes out about uh a foot
20:59
foot so in the case of this that foot that comes out when you raise raise the
21:05
bed all the way up you can use it like a counter space and the bed's out of the way so you don't lose the that kind of
21:11
countertop space functionality um and then here this is
21:18
with the bed down and but the reason we couldn't use those tracks for this is in the back do
21:27
you see how the it has to be wide with the track and they have no upper storage there's no upper storage on the
21:33
driver and there's no upper storage on the passenger so Thomas's we extended this storage on the
21:41
passenger side over here so he could have storage because you know once we make room for the wheelchair the parag
21:48
golfer um so you can move around there's not
21:53
that much room to actually uh there's not that much room to uh
22:00
build I mean have storage in the van so up here on the left what we did is
22:05
extend the storage here and then over here where we couldn't do storage we still extended out so over here we have
22:12
storage but with that bed system that lifts up and down um you know the question is where
22:19
do you put it in a scenario like this where this is kind of your fixed dimensions
22:29
um and then also we wanted this kitchen galy to be open so we want to have a nice open Flow feel through the uh the
22:36
cabin so if he wants to hop into bed he can use the countertop to kind of pivot into bed if he wants to get into the
22:41
driver's seat from his wheelchair he can pivot on the countertop so this countertop height and depth is actually
22:47
critical to his functionality in the van so it looks nice but it's actually
22:53
functional by being open on these corners and you can see here that when you lift the bed
23:00
up uh this has to kind of be boxed in back here with walls um so that it can support these uh
23:10
guide members I guess and I'm sure there's some flexibility on things you don't have to
23:15
do but I can see here that um this is a structural mounting point this is
23:21
structural so those panels look like they're important
23:33
um yeah so this is kind of interesting to me um I don't know if this is tied
23:39
into the roof it looks like it's just tied into the kitchen Galley itself although it's
23:45
really nice laminated probably Baltic Birch nice high ply to give it strength
23:51
so I don't know what they recommended Mountain location it is but uh on Thomas's van
24:00
this is a good example because we had 8020 um and not only do we bolt it through the floor and the walls but we
24:07
also tied it in at the ceiling level as well um to these cross the cross member
24:13
so we have it tied in here and then back here in the back which you can't
24:19
see okay that's all the photos I got so just you know think about where
24:24
if you want to have something like this where you're going to uh
24:30
how you're going to mount
24:35
it and what the manufacturer recommends when you do it okay so there's an option so again
24:42
you can reference the design and layout um we don't talk about this bed but um I
24:48
actually may put this live stream in there as a supplement video since we're kind of diving into layout with
24:54
this we go back here uh lift style bed mount driver passenger
25:00
area um so next there's another option and
25:10
that would be if I
25:21
have all right I'm going to look up something on my phone uh let me know if you guys have um
25:28
any questions while I'm looking this
25:38
up what I'm doing is I'm trying to see if um if my iPhone uploaded the video
25:43
that I took uh this weekend I can show you an example of
25:49
this um Murphy bed that
25:54
might be some good advice for you for
26:46
okay it doesn't look like I uploaded it so maybe I'll have to do that really
26:52
quick see if we just go online type in Murphy style van bed
27:02
next we're going to get to the uh shower
27:17
pan all right here we go so different styles of Murphy bed the
27:23
one I wanted to show you was it's not like a double collapsing one
27:28
um so it's one like this where the majority of the panel comes out on the
27:35
driver side with the mattress and then you have a countertop that essentially
27:42
runs the length of the van to help support it um I like this design
27:48
because this design uh it looks nice but I think it's
27:53
comp complicated with the byold um and then these design that are
27:59
that are half and half I think you lose one side of uh storage and functionality as well as a countertop so if you make
28:06
it like this style I like I like the bigger panel on one side it just it
28:12
seems to add more um functionality to the passenger side
28:20
of the van typically and if you guys can see that to this side
28:29
all right next let's go into the second part of their question which was a shower pan on a slightly raised
28:38
floor so what I'm going to do is let me hop
28:43
into a video
29:03
and we're going to go to the video where um I think I can grab it let's see if I
29:08
can grab it
29:17
here okay so in this video This Is The Ultimate Flooring ultimate can prand
29:23
flooring guide it was one of our blog posts as well as a live stream video that I did
29:29
and right here what we've done is we've raised the floor so we've got an inch of foam insulation and then we got a/ inch
29:37
of plywood and then so we've lifted the floor up raised it and then this section
29:44
right here is what we're going to use for the uh the shower pan so the shower
29:49
pan that we're using in this particular video is the
29:55
uh it's a Tetra van um so we're not using so they do make a
30:03
couple options they have one that is this fold out
30:11
design so the one that do fold out this one's Allin one um it just you need to
30:17
have it mounted in a location where there's enough room to fold out obviously but at the same time there needs to be enough wall depth as you can
30:24
see here so that it can house itself when it's closed up so I do like this one um
30:32
but if you want to be more minimal you're going to go with this pan and this this pan is what I did in this van
30:47
um okay so if we go to this part of the video um up this uh front part right
30:55
here this is the driver's side over here on the left and passenger on the right and so this is the measured cutout for
31:01
the shower
31:06
pan so this pan over here this Tetra van pan this is actually going into this
31:13
hole right here and it fits perfectly with the ability to allow a half an inch
31:22
um space which we actually used 1 in thinsulate material
31:28
uh one inch thinp material to cover this up
31:33
um let's see where is that
31:41
photo I have to find that photo for you guys but yeah we used uh 3M thinsulate
31:47
as a base So what at first I sound it um and you can see here this little hole
31:53
this little hole was my Center hole and I found that
31:58
remember wherever you place this shower pan you have to think about the underside of the uh van you have to
32:05
think about uh the cross members the drive shaft uh how you're going to drain the
32:10
water once everything's said and done um how's it going to flow into the tanks how can you service it how can you fix
32:17
it if uh you know you hit something or mess something up um that is what you
32:24
got to worry about so that hole was everything was kind of wrapped around
32:30
that one hole not only that but on the left side here I had to make sure that
32:38
the kitchen Galley from Flatline vanco fit without going over and right here was my uh part where Ford Transit have
32:47
these little bump outs for support on the chassis they're really annoying because either have
32:53
to cut and grind Away part of your cabinet to go over them so they're not
32:58
in the way or you just kind of deal with it and have them a little offset from
33:03
the wall which actually can be a bonus because the wall does curve in and that offset allows you to run wires and
33:10
cables so it's kind of a double-edged sword which way you handle it but you
33:15
got the left side I mean the driver side over here and then the passenger side so this pan had to be dead center now but
33:23
the great part is is it worked out perfect so if we go back to um go to my
33:30
website Odyssey custom vans click on Glacier and let's go
33:43
inside let's get to the floor I don't know why I didn't put that
33:49
photo in here
33:54
um see if I can find that photo give me two seconds
34:02
here this was
34:37
I'm looking in here give me one second it's a great time to ask questions if you guys got some questions while I'm
34:44
snooping around here trying to find this photo that I I
34:54
did okay it's not that
35:22
oh yeah hold on I don't know why I'm not going to the Tour event video
35:29
here we go okay give me one second I'll be right
35:43
here okay now you can find out why the the cabinets played a role into
35:50
this video so keep watching okay so here is the Tetra van
35:58
uh now I made it look more fancy because what I did is when I laid the floor down and I did my cutout I very carefully cut
36:06
out the lawn sill floor so this lawn sill floor if you can see it's a it's
36:12
it's the same piece of floor that was cut out I just really carefully glued it to the uh the floor piece so it would
36:19
look seamless
36:36
and so now you can see how close the kitchen gys came to that edge um I like
36:42
that it came close because it looks really tight um it's a really nice tight
36:48
fit um and the cool thing if you guys are wondering this is an adventure wagon
36:55
interior system so these two Flatline van kitchen galys are actually physically bolted to the L track that is riveted to
37:02
the the chassis of the van so it's very super strong um which does allow it to be
37:09
removed technically if you really need to get to
37:16
something so we'll just let this video finish up so you guys can see it just pops right back in and what they're
37:22
doing is they're using the sink uh as the shower input
37:29
okay so that is that um see if there's anything else on
37:35
the question here yeah I see people coming and going
37:41
in out of the stream if you have a question feel free to ask it in the chat
37:46
um gives us something to uh talk about kind I extend the live stream for the
37:53
night so shower pan and when they're saying slightly raised floor that's really cool because
38:01
if you do the insulation method that I describe um on the live stream but also
38:07
in the course uh you're you're already going to have enough raise so that if
38:12
you wanted uh to use this um tetran floor pan you could definitely do
38:23
that so none of these websites are sponsored just they just have really
38:29
good information so I'm trying to show you how this works
38:41
um I thought they had one show the side let's see here there you go so you see right here
38:48
we've got we've got one inch over here on the left we got one inch and it tapers to
38:57
one 1.31 so almost you know close to an inch
39:03
and a half so what what I did was I put one in insulation so I got my the one inch
39:11
right here consists of the half an inch plywood and the 1in insulation so from
39:19
this arrow down is going to be an inch and a half so that
39:25
um as this tapers down obviously that's the drain but you can see how this is made for pretty much an inch and a half
39:32
thick floor one inch of uh the poly ISO
39:38
or uh XPS foam as well as um half inch
39:47
plywood and so that is the the Tetra van
39:54
floor and if you're curious I did get it from no supply company that's where I bought
40:01
it um let's see what
40:07
else so current hang from the ceiling um they don't want a dedicated
40:12
shower area and I I like not having a dedicated shower area you you'll be surprised at when you get on the road
40:20
and start to travel at how many facilities are either at truck shut stops or uh KOA Campgrounds
40:28
um I mean KOA has some excellent showers I'm always impressed by the cleanliness
40:33
and just the availability of their showers um when I travel I'll always do a uh I'll just do almost like
40:43
a sometimes you can do a tent site for your Campground um You can call in I don't
40:49
know if this is like a little hack but you can call ahead if you're arriving late and just say hey I'm just coming in for the night I don't need power hookup
40:55
or anything like that um and they'll say oh you know you guys you
41:01
can just drop back into a tent site um if you're just going to go ahead and leave in the morning that's worked for me probably two or three times so I
41:07
don't know if I was lucky but uh it tended to work pretty good
41:12
um so yeah looking forward to tww transit's uh post the PDF of the layout
41:19
I'd love to kind use that as a little case study and uh as well as people that
41:25
um now once again if you've enrolled into the course camper band conversion
41:31
blueprint it's on sale right now um so if you purchase the course you'll have
41:37
access to uh participate in the Forum which is asking me questions through the
41:43
for and I'll answer them um but if you uh if you're not purchasing the course
41:50
you'll be able to view the questions answers you just won't be able to participate in the asking of questions
41:57
so that's the benefit one of the benefits of the course um the other benefit of the course is just a bunch of
42:03
information in here so I go through I have a lecture the lectures are something you can't find anywhere on the
42:08
Internet it's not on the uh u v hq's YouTube or anything like
42:14
that these are oneoff lectures that I go into deep Dives of all of these different systems in the van um one of
42:21
the bonus videos that you guys have not seen is inspecting a used before buying
42:28
so John and Susan were were looking for uh a van and they were thinking that hey
42:34
you know why don't we just get a used van that's halfway to what we want and then we'll let Nick fully customize it
42:42
the way we want do our changes to it and I told them I said hey you know sounds like a great idea let me look at
42:48
the van because I just want to I want to see what we're getting into I don't want you guys to buy a van that you're going to have for a long time and it have
42:55
problems uh you know stuff like that so this van has some issues but if you want
43:02
to figure out what it is uh and what to watch out for this van is a exclusive video I mean
43:09
this video is an exclusive video to the course so yeah check it out
43:16
um yeah this is awesome I'm looking forward to T to be I cannot talk tonight
43:22
tww transits uh PDF with the the layout which will be
43:27
really cool we're looking forward to that um speaking of campgrounds let's talk talk about KOA really quick um I'm
43:35
pretty I'm very happy with KOA Campgrounds
43:48
um let's see so if you go to kway campgrounds uh I'm going to type in uh
43:55
this place called Deadwood South Dakota I went to a stures motorcycle rally this
44:01
year and uh there's two koas that I'm going to
44:08
show you so this is the one at Sturges
44:13
um trying to see if they have any better photos
44:32
yeah uh so like look at this look at that view uh the view is incredible
44:38
there so Deadwood South Dakota it's next to Mount Rushmore for sightseeing but
44:45
they have a beautiful Campground um you know this is where you back in for the
44:50
night you wake up in the morning there's this amazing uh mountain behind you they've got all kinds of different tent
44:56
spots you go downtown to Deadwood um it's like an old western it's just a
45:01
really cool place to to visit but you can see these campsites are really nice um I was hoping they had a
45:08
photo of the amenities
45:18
um like the showers that's what I was trying to show you a photo of
45:40
anyway the showers at this location they had uh it was like a log cabin type
45:46
shower uh stall they had mosaic tile of um like Mount Rushmore and like a
45:54
bunch of other things it this is really nice I think I should have took more photos of it anyway the other one I
46:01
wanted to show you was maybe they have something on here this is
46:24
uh so this is KOA Badlands um White River
46:39
KOA yeah I probably need to probably need to take more photos when I'm there they're a little bit better than these
46:52
photos but you can see some of these cabins and amenities are just super nice
46:57
uh the campground was just super really really
47:13
clean anyway my point is I used to never think about going to a KOA and now I
47:19
mean I pretty much only stay at kway when I'm traveling with my van on the road
47:25
um they're easy to get into I'm always a late arrival I'll always arrive like
47:30
really late probably like 10:00 or 9:00 something like that take a shower next morning just hit
47:36
the road um and they have they have a check-in to where all you got to do is
47:41
just you can check in online go to the door after hours pick up your envelope find your spot on the map drive there
47:48
you know you don't have to meet anybody or talk to anybody it's just a really nice and easy
47:55
experience all right we got off topic a little bit cuz we need some questions in the chat and um I'm going to be on here
48:02
for just a couple more minutes but if we don't have any questions I'm going to call it early for the live stream
48:09
tonight so guys got about a minute or two to get some questions
48:14
in uh really excited about the Forum I think that's going to be
48:19
awesome and uh yeah so tonight did a little bit of answering of this question and there's more questions in here um so
48:26
I'll start taking the questions from the YouTube comments and putting them in
48:32
here which I've already got some I need to catch up on a couple of these
48:37
but yeah this is cool this is excited that it's
48:43
working I like it
48:57
also we're setting up a shop on Van Builder HQ so curious if you guys are
49:02
looking for products for us SEC car um that mainly this is going to be po uh
49:09
populated by products that are vetted by me to make sure that you know you guys are getting something that I would
49:16
recommend I would put in my own customer builds um because I have accounts with a
49:21
bunch of these manufacturers and um yeah I'm already buying them so might as well
49:27
offer them to uh to you guys be able to communicate which ones I like um which
49:33
ones are available so yeah we're going to be doing the RTX
49:39
2000 we'll probably do an ecoflow system fyama f45s awnings uh possibly crl crl
49:48
Windows um and those type of products just like the core products that I think
49:53
are really good for getting started on a van build so yeah if you're interested put that in
49:59
the chat put it in the comments I'm really excited to hear that don't forget about the camper manand conversion
50:05
