1:22
hey everyone welcome back to the live stream tonight we're going to be doing a Sunday Q&A so what I've done is I've
1:28
taken a bunch of the questions that are in the uh comments for the YouTube
1:33
channel broken them down into a couple of categories and then we're going to go through uh each of them and yeah do a
1:40
quick answer kind of a Google search to find out um either the best article or
1:46
product that I think is going to answer the question or if I can just answer it right on camera
1:51
here so uh yeah all I've done is just organized this and we're going to start off um from the top let's see what we're
1:58
going to be talking about we're going to be talking about window installation so there's a couple questions going over
2:03
that uh that's from a couple of videos that we've done on the channel so whether it's cutting a window out in your van or you know installing a window
2:12
frame or even the interior panel kit uh from a company for example and then what
2:18
we're going to do is we're going to talk about flooring um a couple questions about
2:23
that upholstery will be next uh there's a question on four-way stretch carpet which I actually have uh
2:32
a sample of it back here that we're going to take a look at as well as the
2:37
uh Amazon number because um the kind that I like to put in the van is it's hard to find and
2:45
through some trial and error I've got the one that I like uh next down we'll talk about uh Adventure wagon interior
2:53
cost and then we'll go into plumbing and finally we'll talk about
2:59
lighting so yeah let's go ahead and kick it off with uh window installation so the first question was
3:06
do you have to fix the window to install it and I'm going to go and let me go
3:12
ahead and pull up comments section on the
3:18
Channel all right here we go so this was our question right
3:24
here see if I can zoom in
3:31
there we go okay so this was from our latest video which was the camper van bunk window and wall panel install
3:37
install that was our last latest live stream that we did so as far as fixing the window in
3:46
order to install it so I think the question here is when you put
3:53
your uh wall panels up on the van do you have to have the window there to go
3:59
ahead and install your your wall panel so yes you need to have the window there the window is the foundation to uh
4:07
you're going to start and then you're going to work off of that so if we go over here into the drawing
4:15
pad let's draw us a a wall Pinel on a
4:23
van okay so let's just say that's the wall of the van and then 9 * out of 10
4:30
everybody's going to build out and there's going to be this inner
4:35
panel that they're going to either upholster or it's going to be painted and then so you got this space on the
4:43
inside so the space on the inside is what we're talking about so if you have a window it doesn't
4:50
matter if it's a glue in window or a bunk window or any type of window it can
4:55
be this small one or it can even be a big one what you have to do is
5:03
uh translate that to the inside like
5:10
that and then once you translate that to the inside this is where you're going to find out where you got to
5:17
cut so when the question is do you have to fix the window in order to install the panel I would I would say 9 times
5:24
out of 10 you're always going to have to do that obviously unless you don't have a window
5:30
but uh you need to know this right here so I can't zoom in on this but this
5:38
is that trim ring area of a window and so if you want a factory looking finish to the window you're
5:46
going to need something that takes up this space so this right
5:53
here and in that video that we did it's called a window pill now there's all
5:59
kind kind of different there's different companies that make them um one question that was on the live stream was somebody
6:06
was wanting to know should I use the Arctic Turn Style windows or a single pane window from like
6:12
crl and in that response I was talking how crl has companies such
6:18
as um Flatline vanco that make a trim ring
6:24
frame that goes around it so that you can kind of already know where what you're hold is going to look like and
6:31
honestly that might actually be a good example to show you so I'm going to go to Flat Line
6:41
vanco all right so we're going to go Flatline vanco uh we're going to go up to Van
6:48
parts and we're going to go to interior parts and then we're going to scroll
6:54
down to where it says crl pill window trim
7:02
and so there's two options you have the 1033 slider and the a to be
7:10
1033 so the 1033 slider let's see
7:22
here so this is what the 10 uh where is this 1033 half slider so
7:29
this is the window that they're talking about this one just by chance is a photo
7:34
from flare space this is what they put in their flares so you see this one is uh this is
7:42
actually a pretty good picture this one is just the window there is no window
7:47
pill the bump out is like a very large window pill so this is not needed the
7:54
window just pretty much clamps into place and that's it um but for our
8:02
example the reason you need to fit the window first is uh look at
8:09
this so what this window trim kit does that I did this for the other van uh one
8:15
of our vans that we take to shows and in that van I used this window trim
8:22
because I needed to bolt something to the adventure wagon panel which is this exterior
8:28
panel and clean it up because I couldn't the
8:33
spacing in between the window and this inventure wagon kit is about uh 1 in and
8:40
there's really no clean way to make it look like a professional install unless you get some type of a window trim
8:48
kit so this is a option that might help you
8:54
out and let's see here so as far as let's hurry up and answer
9:03
that question so to answer that question let me go to AVC
9:10
rig so AVC rig is a company that where is
9:18
it [Music]
9:23
AVC there you go so that's what it is in Google AVC rig
9:29
click on their website and so this one if we go to
9:37
Interior this is what we purchased for this customer it was the AVC rear
9:42
pill-shaped window frame now we're going to go back and
9:49
forth to better answer that question so with this
9:56
one so with this window frame this is going to designate the spot where you're
10:02
going to trace out and cut your window out so this will Define the spot when
10:08
you're building a van if you're using this type of method where you have a kind of a standalone
10:15
product that is fitting over the window and is meant to be upholstered you're going to need to fix the window into the
10:21
van uh first so there's are some products some
10:27
manufacturers that I think is's uh good let me see if I can really quick find and I keep going back to my face
10:34
because there's ads and all kinds of stuff like that that pop up um let's see
10:39
let's go to turn
10:45
Overland okay so turn Overland and then we're going to go to
10:58
turn turn Overland window
11:04
frame hold on get I'll get there one second so wood
11:12
frame okay this is perfect okay so turn
11:18
Overland they're the company that make the double pane windows for Vans and
11:25
somebody was asking about this in our last live stream about the the benefits of this window uh essentially instead of
11:31
a single pane window kind of that like I use in the Vans with the T vent crl and the uh bunk windows that are single pane
11:40
glass Arctic turn are dual Pane and it's acrylic and so these windows this is
11:47
what they look like uh they're really cool they have a lot of functionality they have three position they click out
11:54
they fully open uh they come with an integrated screen that attaches on the
12:01
inside uh however the profile of these is a little
12:07
different sometimes it doesn't you know it doesn't fit the look that somebody's going for so the viewer that was asking
12:13
the question I told them if you want to have more of a factory finish look on your van you know crl is a company that
12:20
it's going to give you that factory look and then Arctic turn is going to be more of a you know modified you know
12:27
it's definitely a van that's been converted I don't think they look bad but I would say that's the
12:34
difference so if you have a window like this this type of
12:39
setup this will be the window itself and then this is the interior frame that has a bug screen and
12:46
blackout so if you wanted to go this route with the turn Overland windows so
12:51
turn Overland is the company Arctic turn is how everybody identifies this window
12:59
there's a company over here completely separate and it's called Uh sat sang Van
13:07
Works so what they do is they build the window pills for Arctic turn windows and
13:15
I think they're only one of the only ones that that do it so for this they actually make a
13:22
solid wood piece that goes around the window and you can get it in varying
13:28
thicknesses um and the wood's nice enough to where you can actually instead of maybe a
13:33
holster in it you could just stain it um and then use it just like that so you'll go over here you you'll find out you
13:39
know what size window you have uh you can do the full kit then let them know
13:46
the thickness um now I'm going to do this for 2.8 in which is the thickness of
13:52
probably what we're working with and maybe we do what is this 300 700 full
13:57
kit so just for this one frame it's about 361 bucks so it it is expensive
14:04
but again that's somebody else doing the engineering design measuring everything so that once you get this product you're
14:11
really just kind of picture framing your window and then bolting your interior panels or cutting it out to this it's
14:19
like a template and a uh solution all in
14:24
one so those are uh I think that's some really helpful info if you guys
14:30
are going looking to go this direction uh let's see let's hop back
14:35
over
14:41
to let's see here our next question was uh wouldn't you need a slider
14:48
window there we go uh wouldn't you need a slider window on that side with the
14:53
sliding door so this question was was uh let's
14:59
see here right here so that was from the wall panel
15:06
camper van bunk window and wall panel install it's a good question so behind
15:11
me and I don't have my other microphone on today so I'm going have to go back and forth but behind me is the van that we're currently working on and so what
15:18
I'm going to do is I'm going to walk back there I'm going to open the awning window and show you that this window I'll show you the uh the clearance that
15:24
it has
15:34
so this window right here this is the uh awning style window from crl it's a
15:42
a1033 and so this window will tilt out so I'm going to go open it and then um
15:49
we'll see what the clearance looks
15:57
like
16:35
all right so just a quick measurement the window itself uh comes out 2 in and then the
16:42
door the distance from the edge of the glass extended to the door is 3 and 12
16:48
in so you've got plenty of room back there um for that style
16:57
window now this is a good thing to point out um if you have a bump out so say you you
17:05
went and you actually went to get uh this is a good
17:10
example so if you go to flare space the bump out here on the driver's
17:17
side is typically going to be bigger than the passenger side I wonder if they actually show a
17:23
photo the passenger side so sometimes these bump outs will
17:29
be different because of the clearance issue now with customizing any van
17:34
you're going to have to be careful for example the van over here that I'm working on we have uh some Flatline van
17:41
Cod products so let me back up let's look at
17:46
some exterior Parts okay so they sell two exterior
17:52
Parts they sell the uh rear tire carrier and then they Transit van rear door platform so I just installed both of
17:59
those on that van now here's the catch once you install a tire carrier the
18:05
doors can only be opened uh 90° and it's up to you how you want to
18:13
brace the door after the 90° mark because if you open the door the tire is going to hit the side of the van because
18:19
now you've taken out the factory Forge stopping ability and then also on the passenger side this uh Transit van rear
18:28
door platform will also touch the paint so it's just really important to be
18:34
careful or just be mindful that once you custom customize or modify a van you're
18:40
going to have to uh make some accommodations so you don't you know Dent your van up or tear your van up
18:47
there's some DIY Solutions with uh you know people use they make PVC elbows and
18:53
stuff like this stuff that clicks into the uh hinge at the bottom of the van
18:59
and allows it to not move so that that's an option that you can
19:05
um you can do but let's see
19:12
here give me one sec I'm G turn that heater
19:27
off yeah so kind of a give and take you know you customize something it also may
19:33
change the van to where you can't use another aspect of it but hey that's that's customizing in a
19:39
nutshell next question are crl windows no good um and then I put in parentheses
19:46
bigger look at industry options so there was one uh comment over
19:54
here where was that
19:59
um so this one was talking about
20:06
uh the plastic braks uh the T vents um
20:11
messing up on the inside and also what else uh gaps that
20:18
had to be cocked around the Rubber seal to make it quit leaking um so this is a great response
20:28
because when I do the window installs I make sure that I explain to everyone
20:34
that is watching the window install that it's how you install the window that's going to give you the greatest success
20:40
of it not leaking water and I know that sounds obvious but uh you really need to take that to
20:47
heart a van let's let's look at the uh the drawing board here so a van for example I drew this as
20:55
a straight line but that's not what a a van that's not what that's not how a van
21:01
is designed so a van is the AL shell of Van looks like this it comes down then
21:08
you get a little lip then this outer side comes down like this you get
21:13
another body line it comes down like this and then maybe goes into the frame
21:20
uh of the van and let's say that this is the
21:27
tire so um so that's what we're working with
21:33
that is the profile so it's not straight it's actually curved so you can imagine
21:39
if you take a flat something flat and you try to install it now I've
21:46
OV exaggerated the curve but it is there but if you try to do this there's
21:51
going to be two spots that will be prone to leaking and
21:58
and this is not really the windows fault it has to do
22:03
with this just a situation that what you're trying to put the window
22:08
into and with any customization you are customizing a van when you're putting windows in it even though the windows
22:15
are designed to the best of their ability to fit perfectly into a van it's still a modification that is not Factory
22:21
and you know has not been Factory tested regardless of what window you put in uh
22:27
besides a factory piece of glass so if you're deciding to put any windows in the van just consider
22:34
that or make some more considerations of how you're going to install it so when I do these cardboard
22:42
templates and cutouts if you watch my other videos You'll see um if I take this and let's just turn this into a
22:49
side
22:56
view
23:02
okay let's just say that's a side view of a van and then let's say we've
23:07
got let's try to make this look like a Ford
23:15
Transit okay something like that and then you're going to have like a a body seam right here you know you
23:22
know stuff like that but you're going to be putting the window here
23:29
so the areas that are not going to be affected let's do this let's make the window
23:37
blue okay so the areas in green that I do here in just a second will be areas
23:42
that um aren't an issue or probably won't be
23:48
an issue and then the areas in red will most likely be something that
23:55
uh might be an issue okay because we have a curve going this direction this
24:01
surface it's going to be fine this surface probably going to be fine but these curved sides are what is
24:10
going to need a little bit of
24:16
help now when I I wish I had a better picture but when I uh install these
24:22
windows when you clamp down on the window
24:29
this uh curve part actually turns into a
24:35
flat part and again I'm I'm OV exaggerating for
24:41
effect to kind of prove the point so when you put this in and you
24:46
tighten it down it's going to make that curve more of a straight
24:54
edge that's why I like to use the the screws like the socket head cap screws
25:00
to to compress the frame because it gives me the confidence that if I have
25:05
something I need to squeeze a little bit more I can just keep cranking down on those screws and really press it in as
25:10
opposed to if I use the uh standard Hardware from crl um it's challenging to
25:17
do that and a big point that I just missed
25:23
explaining to you guys this example right here this is a
25:29
typical RV side so if you have the big RVs
25:35
um that they're all made out of uh what is it it's like the
25:41
multi-layered like foam and board installation I forgot what it's called anyway my point
25:48
is most RVs are I say 99% there's a box on the back it's very flat the walls are
25:55
extremely flat the roof is extremely flat so AC units on the roof you're mounting it to a flat surface Max fans
26:03
fantastic fans you're mounting it to a flat surface exterior windows you're mounting it to a flat surface so that is
26:10
the uh that's the base of the whole RV industry so as Adventure Vans and DIY
26:17
van people we have taken something that
26:22
is not typically designed for the RV industry and we have modified it into an
26:29
RV uh which is awesome however the parts that we're buying were uh mostly
26:36
designed for a flat surface and not designed for uh a curved
26:42
surface so we just have to take a little bit of extra caution when we we installing this stuff um now as far as
26:51
crl I'm not a spokesperson or sponsored in any way but if you have a part and
26:57
something happen you should be able to take it back to anybody you buy it from and get them to take care of it um and
27:05
just as a uh I don't want to say like an inside note but when you purchase the window this
27:13
sounds wild but as soon as you get the window uh seral is actually expecting
27:18
you this is my experience they're expecting you to um
27:25
take it out of the box look at it and and then you know make sure there's no damage uh when you when you get it
27:33
delivered that day for me I have four of these windows on the Shelf I haven't opened them out of the box and so
27:40
technically that's an issue that I haven't inspected all the windows but I'm probably not going to do that um out
27:47
of all the windows I've installed there has been one screen that the screen kind of came out
27:53
but um okay this is a
27:59
one second here there we go so when I say bigger look at industry options uh I wrote this note here
28:07
because the RV industry we're we're getting customized options for our
28:14
vehicles but they're not all going to be a robust choice
28:19
so windows that have been manufactured and modified for a van it's still a
28:25
custom industry if you think about it and you know the quality is going to
28:31
kind of be a give or take depending on what manufacturer you go with so you know look at the
28:38
manufacturers um whether it's crl Arctic turn motion
28:43
Windows um any of those companies find the look
28:49
that you want but then when you're getting ready to install it you know you can watch one of my videos or somebody
28:55
else's video and I I think more of the issues are coming out of install rather
29:01
than quality of the product because at the end of the day it is an
29:07
RV window I'm not saying they all are not good but um it's an RV window so um
29:15
hopefully that makes sense uh moving on cardboard template
29:20
using one drill bit instead of two so to answer this question let's go
29:28
down to the drawing
29:34
pad so this one was where was
29:48
that we'll just go straight to the drawing pad okay so for this
29:54
question uh we can use the same image here so when I was transferring the the
30:00
template for the window vent I was transferring it from the inside to the outside I drilled two holes right here I
30:06
drilled a hole here and I drilled a hole here and that way when I took it off of the inside and brought it to the outside
30:12
I could actually line it up on the two drill bits slide it on it would be
30:18
exactly in the same location so his question was why didn't I just put one drill bit in there and
30:25
then later go and measure my left to right and kind of do almost like a like
30:32
a seesaw thing to where I could you know move it up and down you could do that um
30:40
but I make sure that I align it on the inside of the van first because you have these ribs that
30:47
you're cutting out and I just want to make sure that everything is nice and even on the inside if for some reason I
30:54
didn't measure yes it will be obvious on the outside of the van but I've only drilled two holes and this metal is
31:00
going to be taken out anyway so I don't care if uh those are off and I need to drill maybe two
31:07
more so yeah there's two ways if you have the template you put it on the inside your van you drill two holes so
31:14
like this got two holes in the van you take the template on the outside of the
31:19
van or the inside and you move it to the outside of the van you're just lining it
31:24
up on these holes you know there's kind of two ways to do it but um they were wondering why
31:31
I didn't use one drill bit and that's why I didn't do
31:39
that all right next up floring um I live in Montana I think it's
31:46
Montana and I'm having issues with plumbing freezing and want to redo my floor for maximum insulation in the
31:52
winter any specific tips or suggestions on material selection so yes so we're
31:58
actually going to uh write an article very soon about that specific material
32:04
selection so for example um a lot of people are searching
32:09
for Styrofoam insulation for florim and I think that's because you know
32:15
everyone's used to buying a styrofoam cooler or something has Styrofoam insulation uh but what you want to use
32:21
in a van is polyiso so we did this on let's see
32:35
here all right so if you go to Van Builder hq.com and by the way if you guys haven't been to the website we have
32:41
a website and our website has a ton of blog posts and articles everything that
32:46
you guys can read it's pretty much uh you know my brain put into a blog post
32:53
and got some really great pictures and stuff and it's easy to follow along so we've got a lot of Articles here and the
32:59
one that I want to look at is the flooring
33:09
article let's see
33:14
here me back
33:25
up
33:32
okay it is uh the Ultimate Flooring guide this what you want to look
33:37
at and in this I go over a video um did I already pull up this
33:44
video no that's a fan
33:50
life give me one second I'm gonna pull this video
33:55
up
34:02
okay the ultimate camper van flooring guide this is a video that's on the YouTube channel and it goes over
34:08
everything in your van flooring and everything to consider uh floor plan
34:14
layout um properties of flooring materials weight Aesthetics budget soundproofing what season you use in
34:20
your van uh does your floor system need to provide insulative value and then how is is it easy to clean so goes through a
34:27
whole entire process of uh how to put your floor together you also get to see
34:32
me install a floor in a van so start to
34:37
finish this is the product I'm talking about so this is called formul 150 it's
34:43
got the Pink Panther on it it's pretty easy to see there's a Green version at Lowe's Home Improvement and then there
34:50
is the pink stuff at Home Depot um I just use the pink stuff from Home Depot because it's just what I've
34:56
used before but it also goes by the name of XPS
35:02
installation and we're going to pull it up really quick online and I'm going to talk to you about
35:09
um some of that stuff actually we're just going to reference van builder hq's
35:14
website uh because this is where I put everything so if you look at the table of contents on this blog post if you go
35:21
down to installation and you just click it it's going to bring you down to the article where I explain the whole entire
35:29
reason you would want to do formula 150 so this is what it looks like um and
35:38
then we even go to sub FL so take a look at this article uh I'm going to pause on that
35:43
and actually go to Home Depot's website so you can see the
35:55
product so you can Google Home Depot poly ISO and then go to ISO fo foam board
36:06
installation and we're going to get to the answering the question here in just a second um XPS is what you want to look
36:22
at so right here uh Home Depot actually does a pretty good example a job
36:27
explaining EPs polyiso and XPS um so the XPS extruded polystyrene
36:36
is what I recommend it's the most moisture resistant um and that's just you want
36:44
things that are moisture resistant in a van now when you go to actually purchase
36:50
the thickness you're going to have uh a couple options um the one that I use in a van
36:56
is the 1 in thick version depending on how thick you want your final floor dimensions to be
37:03
is greatly going to be based on this you're probably when you're building a floor you're going to do/ inch plywood
37:10
for a floor most people will not do 3/4 inch plywood because just of the weight and a/ inch does a really good job
37:17
especially when you're gluing it down to this polyiso and then the poly ISO to the van
37:23
floor but to answer the question which was um Plumbing freezing and he's
37:30
redoing the insulation uh tips for material
37:38
selection um yeah my floor for maximum insulation
37:45
so this is what I would do if you have the room you're going to lose an inch in the
37:53
ceiling but the more you can max out your
37:58
flooring that cold coming from from the floor typically your plumbing is in the it's not in the floor but it's resting
38:05
on the floor or it's close to the floor so that's probably where he's coming from now in my Vans I use this R5 1 in
38:12
thick and it really has to do with either the customer is not going to you
38:17
know Canada or something like that it's not in a state that has a really cold temperature so 1 inch is probably fine
38:26
if you're G to go ahead and redo the floor anyway if you can be okay with
38:32
reducing your ceiling height another inch and you go with an R uh a 2in thick
38:39
it's going to give you an r10 value so this you're double doubling your r value which is your insulative value of your
38:46
floring and so that would be my recommendation and that's really because there's really nothing else that's going
38:53
to help you with uh if you're if you're specifically trying to fix the floor now
38:59
what I the next thing that I would do is ask yourself is there any other place in the van besides the floor that I can
39:06
increase my insulation so one is you
39:11
know how's your van set up so do you have an all glass van because it's going to be really challenging Heating and
39:17
Cooling that type of van do you have a cargo van that you're starting off with and there's no windows in the van uh so
39:25
the lower number of windows in the van the better insulative value your van is
39:31
going to have there's less heat loss when you have less windows but a lot of
39:36
people like to have more windows so the van feels more open you can see outside
39:41
so it's kind of Catch 22 you know what do you what are your goals and then what
39:46
do you want to do um and this vanan behind me I think it's the best
39:53
uh uh very even setup is we're doing two two bunk windows in the back that are
39:58
ventilated so you can get that cross Breeze through the van through the max vanan in the top of the roof and then by
40:05
the kitchen Galley if you do decide to cook cook we have a crl t vent window
40:10
that's going in and so then you can ventilate from the outside and if you are cooking by that kitchen Galley you
40:17
have some way to exhaust the indoor cooking most people are going to cook outside but if you do do that um having
40:25
those two in the back and the one on the side and not having any other windows so no rear door windows no driver side
40:34
windows um that's going to dramatically keep the heat and Cooling in your
40:40
van which will in turn keep your pipes from not freezing um I don't think the ceiling is
40:47
that big of a deal just in my experience uh but definitely the floors and the
40:53
walls um but if you can you know put some type of different instulation in your ceiling uh we're using havlock wool
41:00
on this current build the one that we did the adventure wag wagon with that one is uh thinsulate so 3M
41:12
thinsulate okay next up bind lawn sill floring what is the max length so this
41:18
is the next uh comment that we had and let's see where that one was
41:23
[Music] from
41:42
La
41:53
seal there it is so this viewer uh this is on our lawn
41:59
seal Marine flooring install video design tips on choosing color and
42:05
texture so in this video we installed lawn Sills start to finish in Marine One
42:11
you guys can watch that but the question is how big of a roll can you buy so I know that the maximum width on
42:19
these rolls is well let's actually go to we're going to go to perfect fit
42:27
that's where I get my flooring from and
42:37
upholstery so perfect fit.com and let's go on to lawn seal
42:45
flooring and we have another live stream where we talk about lawn seal in detail
42:50
but if you just pick up one so here we go let's zoom
42:59
in okay so for lawn seal that's the coin style flooring they make other Styles um
43:06
but the roll is 6 feet wide and then the maximum roll length would be 60
43:13
ft now if you have a Ford Transit 12 feet is what you want to purchase upon
43:19
checkout that's going to be enough to do behind the seats all the way outside the back of the van it's going to give you
43:25
about um you know 10 to 12 Ines of overhang in
43:31
the back depending on where the driver's seat is so 12 feet is safe if you guys
43:37
are wanting to know the numbers on that um something very important about
43:42
buying lawn sill you need to be very careful about a couple of options this
43:48
lawn coin is the original um but right here there's a
43:54
spot where it says is it gives it some uh it's below floor floor
44:01
score and they'll say like green air or green medic and I get so this green
44:08
medic I think is for like ambulances or maybe Hospital flooring but notice that
44:14
it doesn't have uh top seal so let's back up and let's
44:20
scroll down and we see long coin 2 two
44:25
featherweight to flex to flex top seal so we'll click on
44:30
top seal and for a van you want to make sure that the
44:37
formulations the green Aon green medic but look to make sure it says top seal
44:43
right there if it doesn't say top seal then that means it doesn't have this additional layer of
44:49
protection and um I'm going grab a
44:54
sample
45:09
so this is what we put in uh Marine one so this is a sample of the
45:16
flooring and it's a teak uh looking
45:21
floor and let's see how much we can zoom in so you can see this is an awesome
45:27
floor it actually has like wood texture to it um and then if I can show you on the
45:37
edge you can kind of see like there's like this
45:42
clear it's hard to see on camera but there's like this clear there's this outer clear membrane that you if you
45:50
look really really close you can see that it's been applied to the top of this and that is what gives it its uh
45:58
durability so you want to make sure when you're buying this that it has top
46:05
seal not all of them have it and uh I didn't know that when I first started
46:11
doing this um and I made my first purchase so that is
46:16
my uh advice to you guys just to if you want to do that make sure you're finding something that has that integrated in
46:24
it okay did I answer that question let's see yep okay next let's talk about
46:30
four-way stretch carpet where did I get it from so behind
46:37
me I have this nice big piece of four-way stretch carpet and a charcoal
46:45
color and four-way stretch is just like the name ints you're able to stretch
46:52
this and actually uh give it some type almost has like a memory to it so you can stretch
46:58
it to reset the memory and then you can pull it and it'll actually it'll keep
47:05
whatever type of you know Kink or bend that you put in it and it is very good for upholstering
47:12
this
47:24
piece so you guys may know this as the
47:31
dreaded uh Ford Transit High roof foam
47:37
uh airbag protector block thing it's it's the thing that you know I think
47:44
nobody wants to upholster maybe you don't know how to upholster it or uh
47:49
make it look nice so guess what I'm going to Pooler this in a live stream video with this four-way stretch fabric
47:58
and it's going to look amazing so if you want to tune in to that one you can now as you guys know I'm pretty
48:06
picky on products so I always want to buy you know stuff that I really like using so right now we're going to look
48:12
up this number because it took me a couple tries to to find this um and I try to find on
48:21
Amazon so that I can add it to the uh
48:26
DIY van build cheat sheet which we will talk about in just a
48:32
minute so let's go to let's go
48:38
here by the way if you guys have any questions ask those in the chat uh that's how I get these questions to do
48:45
these Q&A videos it's a Q&A today too so if you have a question um let me
48:53
know okay so the numbers a c 3
49:01
62-5
49:07
Carpet and the reason that this one's really hard to find is because the the
49:13
photo is terrible so that's the that blurry photo
49:18
is the product photo for this product it's a good product I really like it but
49:23
you would never imagine that this is what I'm wanting you to get now when you
49:30
buy it it's going to come in a 60 inch by 40inch wide folded piece in a bag
49:36
it's going to be gray it's a it's a real dark charcoal gray um but it's awesome it's 30 it's
49:44
you know 35 bucks and it's how you're going to wrap those foam pieces and it's
49:51
also going to how you're going to wrap the rear pillars of a van and the two pillars is behind the driver and
49:56
passenger side so they have really different intricate uh ways to wrap that
50:03
and we'll be doing that in a live stream as well um it might be as soon as next week so stay tuned for
50:11
that uh all right checking along here
50:16
um Adventure wagon Adventure wagon interior cost let me come back to that
50:22
one I need to uh pull up what I was going to pull up uh unless they have pricing online Let's
50:29
uh here we go let's just do it
50:38
live I'm a big fan of Adventure wagon but it is it's very expensive but I
50:43
think it's a great value because most people think the adventure wagon kit just includes the panels but the
50:52
adventure wagon kit it includes the panels all the
50:58
insulation which is 3M thinsulate it is pre CNC cut and
51:04
labeled insulation so it's you don't have to cut it you don't have to measure it as a label you know exactly what
51:11
chamber or pocket to put it in the van um not only that but it comes with all
51:17
the hardware all the mounting kit the whole entire kit is held in by eltrak which is the main feature of the whole
51:24
entire interior system uh a Max fan is included uh as well as allowing you to
51:31
change out and do different options so if you wanted to do instead of a uh fabric ceiling they'll allow you to
51:38
upgrade into a bamboo ceiling so for example let's go to now
51:43
I'm doing this live I don't know they did update their website and it's a better experience than the last time I
51:49
did this but you go to their website um let's do high roof long
51:55
so extended is the 148 extended which would technically be like the 170
52:01
Sprinter is the transit HR long high roof long that's the one you want to click on uh but this is the interior
52:11
system um so we've got let's see van model High roof
52:18
cargo say gray so gray Heather that's what I've
52:23
got and then let's see floor and
52:28
seating uh so I do not need additional floor and seating now these are the these are big
52:34
things so a six rail smart floor uh rre Global when we went to Adventure van
52:39
Expo and uh Colorado that video we go through a little bit of the smart floor
52:46
system but it's a very expensive system we're not going to talk about that but down here is an option for that smart
52:52
floor system the ceiling configuration uh you can decide where you want your
52:58
fan mounted in the ceiling now if I was going to do this system
53:04
again I would not install the uh the prean cutout they
53:10
pre-cut out the panels for your fan now I would not do that in the future
53:15
because I wanted the fan to actually be in a different spot because it was interacting with my dedic RTX 2000 and
53:23
the solar panels on the roof and because it was a hard cutout and I couldn't change it I had to you know find some
53:30
interesting shaped solar panels to make my roof work so for this uh I would
53:37
do um let's see for
53:44
you uh let's do rear fan let's just say your DIY you don't want to have the
53:49
hassle of cutting this out so let's just say we do a rear rear fan cut out
53:55
um panels we want upholstered panels you can add bamboo I did add bamboo ceiling
54:00
in the last van and it's really nice um for Sleep System I would not go
54:07
with a Sleep System right here at this point because it's very expensive uh the moav bed um is
54:18
$3,600 and I'm going to show you a different option uh if you are if you are not on a
54:24
budget or your budget will allow you to put this into your van the bed that's designed for them it's a little bit
54:31
cleaner of an install than I think uh the second option which is going to be Flatline vanco so Flatline vanco has uh
54:40
something called Adventure wagon compatible parts I love this stuff so
54:47
these are the cabinets the kitchen galy the bed system that I have in the transit uh that we've been working on
54:55
and so this bed system um you know it's about $1,500
55:01
cheaper and it's harder to get in and out of the van but I think the money you save can be put towards you know an air
55:08
conditioning unit or something like that so that's just kind of my my take on that so for this I would say I don't
55:14
need a bed um storage so they have soft storage
55:19
they're called meal bags they're really cool but let's pass on that for right now
55:26
um see wall and ceiling installation yep let's do that sound dampening oh yeah it
55:34
includes sound dampening so the whole entire kit includes all the killmat instulation that you're going to need uh
55:41
actually it says hushmat so they must have use something different now electrical I opted out for this in lie
55:47
of a bamboo ceiling so they include a wiring harness if you want to install USB Outlets um
55:55
that are pre cutout and throughout the panels in the van so all you have to do
56:00
is plug it into your engine battery with the harness that they provide so this $900 harness is what they're giving you
56:08
and they're also pre-wiring all the panels with the USB ports so it's really convenient if your DIY and you're just
56:15
trying to get things done and you don't want to deal with putting extra USB outlets in your van um since I did a pro
56:23
install I opted out for that and I use that money to put in my bamboo
56:31
ceiling um accessories uh they have some fridges
56:36
and stuff for sale I would not do this I would do something different
56:44
um and then installation go to a
56:51
DIY um so let's see here so so now so this kit that we op that we
56:58
configured now remember I did not do the wiring harness we're doing a DIY
57:04
install and uh we opted out a couple things the bed system and so this
57:09
interior kit is 15,600 uh as of this configuration that I did so that's the cost of the system
57:17
and I don't think that include shipping now this may be sticker shock
57:23
because maybe your conversion budget is just this amount which is completely fine there's a lot of different options
57:30
to go with in this whole van industry and so um and I think actually do I have
57:40
that on let's see we've written so many articles I don't
57:46
know let's see
57:53
here
58:00
um let me find this article I know we have
58:07
it so this is the interior
58:16
kits okay so it's a best camper van conversion kits for a DIY build so this
58:22
is an article uh that I wrote that goes through selection process of interior
58:30
kits so give this a read um I explain what a conversion kit is the benefits of
58:36
it how to choose one uh what typically comes into a kit different kits uh let's
58:43
see what we talk about so Adventure wagon is one Zen Vans
58:49
Wayfair Vans Infinity Vans uh our Caravan uh has some kitchenet or
58:56
kitchenet kitchen Galley kits and stuff like that Titan DIY kits have
59:02
uh van panels just like the ABC rig company we talked about so ABC rig has
59:09
this wall kit and this is what we're actually putting the transit right behind me so this is what I'm
59:15
installing um yeah so check out it's uh the name of
59:21
the article is best camper van conversion kits for a DIY build so check
59:26
that out so those kits for example the ABC rig you know this wood kit is 1,800
59:34
bucks and if you get the let's see if you get the high roof extended uh and you do the highest grade
59:42
Baltic Birch um it's still 2950 bucks so
59:48
there are ways to get these paneling systems uh at a lower cost depending on
59:54
on what your budget
59:59
is uh yeah so that's um Venture wagon interior cost kind of what to expect if you're looking to get that
1:00:07
kit um also if you want to go
1:00:13
to we go
1:00:21
to uh if you go to one of our most popular videos so that's the Bend Oregon
1:00:27
trip for the adventure van Expo if you go there you will find out or you will
1:00:32
find the uh walk through we did for adventure wagon we looked at two Vans we
1:00:38
walked through the interior of one van and uh that was the one that we were able to uh showcase you know what it
1:00:46
looks like on the inside uh we met with Haley um with Adventure wagon and uh she's one of the
1:00:54
the context there so if you missed this video it's the 2022 Adventure van Expo
1:01:00
Redmond Oregon B show um and so that's Haley there she's about to walk us through the adventure wagon kit the van
1:01:07
that they brought at this event was cool because it had a plexiglass roof uh or ceiling panel and you're actually
1:01:13
getting to see the uh uh they call it the A-frame which is
1:01:18
a powdercoated orange frame that is riveted into the van and that's what accepts the L track and holds all the
1:01:24
panels into place uh I opted out for the black powdercoated aluminum L
1:01:31
track as opposed to this shiny aluminum L Trak the only downside to the powder coated one is you know you got to be
1:01:38
gentle with it because you know the powder coat can scratch it is possible
1:01:44
um even though it's a tough coating but this one see right here the yellow part that is the core structure of the van
1:01:51
and I like it for safety purposes because it's physically riveted into the
1:01:56
van and then your whole entire kit mounts to it you can put bunk beds in here you can
1:02:03
put uh double beds like uh for
1:02:08
example this is their second van so you see there's two of their bed
1:02:14
systems and you're able to you know raise one lower the other one so if you
1:02:20
have kids and you know the both of you want to sleep up top and and have the kids sleep on the bottom one uh that's a
1:02:26
way to maximize the space in a van because
1:02:32
um it's tight you know a 148 van that's not in extended if you do have kids or
1:02:37
you have friends um trying to figure out where everybody's going to stay in the van for example if that's your goal is
1:02:44
sleeping in the van maybe you're up north or something like that um having
1:02:50
an adventure wagon interior kit gives you these options of doing these bunk bed Style
1:02:55
beds uh but doing them really safely and easy to take out of the van completely
1:03:02
to regain your van as a cargo van or just easily move the height up and down
1:03:08
uh some Vans they do L TR and they have uh motorcycles so for example um
1:03:15
elementum uh Adventure Vehicles where is his
1:03:22
van okay this this is his van so for example he doesn't have an
1:03:28
adventure wagon kit but he does use ELR um and then in one of his Vans if I
1:03:33
can actually get to it he actually has uh an adventure
1:03:38
motorcycle in the van so you can imagine having a motorcycle with the bed lifted
1:03:45
all the way to the top and then you take the motorcycle out and then you put the bed down in its location so you kind of
1:03:52
have different uh featur like that all right that was a lot of
1:03:58
information let's get back to this um yeah Adventure wagon options so if you
1:04:04
have more questions on that uh I have a ton of knowledge I've installed a full entire Adventure wagon system in this
1:04:09
van um so I've got a lot of experience I've talked to them a bunch on the phone and just by purchasing the kit going
1:04:17
through that process in general so happy to answer any questions on that next we're going to be talking about
1:04:22
plumbing and we're going to talk about PEX a uh otherwise known as the
1:04:27
oer uh expansion tool and the question was can you rent the
1:04:33
tool now I went online I looked at all the rental companies and I can't find a
1:04:39
I can't find a place where you can rent it now for some reason
1:04:44
um they must have a sale going on so maybe if you're watching this and made that
1:04:50
comment uh let's see proex
1:04:56
expansion tool so guys uh this is the tool that
1:05:04
you're going to want to buy when you do plumbing in your van and if you're going to splurge on
1:05:11
something this is the tool to get now this one is refurbished at
1:05:17
$2.99 um if you're comfortable with that maybe if you went on Facebook Marketplace or something but the kit
1:05:23
that I'm talking about um it's the propex expander tool and
1:05:31
it's the half inch with half inch to one inch now what this tool does is this
1:05:37
tool is going to allow you to do PEX a plumbing
1:05:44
install and so if you don't know what PEX a is let's go look up PEX
1:05:51
a so there's two different types of PEX there's PEX a and PEX
1:06:05
B let's see
1:06:10
here I'm trying to say anytime you guys just see my face is because there's like all these ads and all kinds of stuff and
1:06:17
I just don't want to show all that to you
1:06:23
um okay now this website this is not
1:06:29
sponsored or anything but I think this will plum.com I think this is where I go
1:06:35
and just a lot of my knowledge as far as figuring out you know because I'm learning about this stuff as I
1:06:41
go but so PEX a is right here on the left and this piece of
1:06:48
plastic um this is the think of it as a Industrial rubber band on steroids okay
1:06:57
so this tool right here with this little needle point what it does is it opens up
1:07:03
it looks I'm going to go grab it here in a second it looks wild as heck but it opens up with like these jaws and it
1:07:12
basically expands this uh super R tight
1:07:17
rubber band and it kind of relaxes it enough to where you can fit this fitting
1:07:22
in there the PEX a fitting and then what happens is in a couple seconds it will
1:07:27
find it will go back to its original size and by doing that uh does a it
1:07:34
compresses down forever um and it has a very very tight
1:07:39
seal one of the benefits is is if this fitting accidentally rotates or moves or
1:07:45
say you have a freeze in the line or something it's just uh it's the best
1:07:51
chance you're going to get to it not breaking on the right side is PEX uh is
1:07:59
B this is typically what's going to be in your house that's probably that you live in um unless it is been upgraded to
1:08:07
aex a but this one is uh it's a brass collar that's crimped
1:08:13
down so uh going to pexa it's more expensive but
1:08:21
I'll let you guys just read this article on the ex examples so this is a tool that you
1:08:28
would install PEX B with um so let me go grab that tool
1:08:35
really quick because I I want to show it to
1:08:46
[Music]
1:08:52
you
1:09:22
for
1:09:43
[Music]
1:09:55
oh well we'll have to uh wait till next time only thing I found in my Plumbing drawer is the uh the PEX a so this is
1:10:01
kind of what it looks at just pretty simple I mean sorry pix
1:10:08
b anyway yeah check this out um I'm going to put this in the chat just so
1:10:15
you guys Plumbing
1:10:21
seeex a versus [Music]
1:10:31
B There You Go all right here we go we're going to
1:10:36
keep going Let's uh let's talk about the next one which is uh lighting so the question that we had in the comments was
1:10:42
fog light wiring options when you're not using a factory
1:10:49
harness and the question was asked when we were on this video video where is the
1:11:08
video yeah if you guys are watching live you have a question on anything that we've talked about or a new question I'd
1:11:14
definitely love to hear it while we're live
1:11:21
tonight okay let's check out this video so I made a video It's called new fog light kit diod Dynamics ss3 and vanmade
1:11:29
gear fog light bracket so what we're doing is we're converting this uh
1:11:35
Factory fog light over here so that's the name of the company
1:11:40
that makes this uh van Parts Warehouse freedom vanco is who sells this part and
1:11:46
it's pretty wild it's extremely bright however what they've done is they've taken the Ford factory
1:11:54
Mount and then what you do is you take off the surrounding trim ring and then
1:11:59
you unbolt the light and then you're going to take the new bracket and install it
1:12:05
into back into the van so there's the wiring harness so the question was if
1:12:11
you don't have this on your van how is it possible to wire in an additional fog
1:12:18
light so there's a couple ways you can do it um the easiest way to do it is uh
1:12:25
with a light bar so I'm going to go to over to a company um we're going to go
1:12:30
to uh I see g l agile
1:12:36
off we're g to go to Agile off-road and then we're going to go to
1:12:43
Ford Transit shop and we're going to look at
1:12:51
bumpers and we're going to look look at their Transit Offroad 20in tubular bar
1:12:59
mount now this is the cheapest decent one I've ever found on
1:13:04
the internet it is a It Bolts into your license plate bracket and it holds a um
1:13:14
what is the uh what is
1:13:19
that I forgot what light this is
1:13:24
a rigid 20in light bar so then you're going to go over here
1:13:29
and you're going to type in
1:13:38
rigid um let's
1:13:44
see it is this one okay so don't have a heart attack I
1:13:51
know this one's $782 but just stay with me on
1:13:57
this so that's our light bar mount right now here's the thing you don't have to get you don't have to get that light bar
1:14:05
so you can go to uh say 20
1:14:13
inch so rough country as a lower cost off-road
1:14:19
company and I can't tell you for sure that this is going to fit but what I'm saying is there's different 20in light
1:14:26
bar options that are at lower cost so you go from rigid which is 700 and
1:14:33
whatever um 782 to this which is 134 you can even go
1:14:42
probably lower with uh Harbor Freight
1:14:47
now what am i setting up so we have our light we have a way to mount our light
1:14:52
to our bumper okay so this is if you don't have a pocket that you're going to
1:14:58
upgrade with the factory harness or you have like say like my van my personal van is a 2019 Ford Transit and there's
1:15:05
no pocket for me to put a Ford light or a Ford fog light upgrade or anything
1:15:11
like that so I would have to go with this type of uh solution so this is the bracket this is
1:15:18
a light the next thing is nine times out of 10 these kits are going to um come
1:15:27
with Hardware so if we click on this next photo you're going to see a wiring
1:15:32
harness and then you're also going to see uh a switch here so this switch uh
1:15:40
what you're going to do is the where where you can connect this
1:15:46
light switch to is the in a for Transit the battery is underneath the driver's seat you will have to take the driver
1:15:53
driver's seat off it's not too difficult it's four bolts you'll take the driver's seat off and then you'll have access to
1:16:00
your battery and uh the ability to mount a um a fuse there should be a fuse in
1:16:06
this wiring harness so you're going to do two things you're going to mount the bar mount the light and then you're
1:16:12
going to snake the wire through the engine you know safely around not hot
1:16:19
parts of the engine there's a little hole that goes through the fire wall that allow you to pull the line up under your
1:16:26
dash then you're going to take it from your dash uh there's one lead that comes
1:16:32
with this so This harness is really big one lead is going to go to your batteries to get you a uh power
1:16:40
connection and then on your left side there's like a bottom cup holder in your
1:16:45
dash that is where a piece of plastic pops out I'm going to go pop it out of this van real
1:16:52
quick
1:17:05
[Music]
1:17:22
for all right so in a Ford Transit you have this right here so if you guys this
1:17:28
is familiar so on your driver's side there's this okay you it's angle like
1:17:34
that and you can kind of put like a drink or wallet or you know sunglasses what I use but you have this thing you
1:17:41
pop out and this what you're going to do is in the center right here you'll drill
1:17:47
a hole that's going to allow you to take this switch and put it in there so you
1:17:53
do a whol saw hole here and then you can put that little switch in there and then now you have a switch of your fog lights
1:18:01
now it's a challenge to you know put that in there but you know if you're trying to find a DIY route to circumvent
1:18:08
like an oem plug location uh that is that is what I would
1:18:13
I would suggest um
1:18:20
yeah all right let's talk about something fun we'll talk about the DIY van build cheat sheet so if you guys
1:18:26
don't know what this is this is an Excel sheet that I put together uh of all of
1:18:31
my Amazon purchases over the last three years of stuff that I've bought for the shop and vans so it's a curated list
1:18:38
it's got over 250 items with Amazon links we got electrical we've got
1:18:45
Fasteners uh stuff that I use for 8020 specifically is what the Fastener section is Hardware HVAC like the max
1:18:52
fan in we've got insulation kitchen items like the induction cooktop burner
1:18:57
onboard air compressors we installed an ARB compressor in one of our van builds Roofing security solar a bunch of Renegy
1:19:05
components like solar panels uh kits uh for wiring stuff together the
1:19:12
most important part of this list and my favorite is the tool section this is going to allow you to look at all the
1:19:17
kind of weird tools that I've used uh the propex expansion tool that we just talked about is right in here right on
1:19:25
here so that kits on there that we talked about um the riv nut tool adapter
1:19:34
so that is a tool that goes on the end of a drill to install the rivets are the
1:19:39
plus nuts for the adventure wagon kit that we also talked about in today's video soldering station hydraulic lug
1:19:46
crimping tool for those big 4 o battery cable connections uh so all that stuff is in
1:19:52
in this list the best part is it's completely free all you guys have to do is go to
1:19:59
the link in the description below put your name and email address click download now it's going to come
1:20:04
right to your inbox you can also go to vuer hq.com so if you guys are on Van
1:20:10
Builder hq.com you're looking at a bunch of the Articles the cool part is like if you're looking at best camper van
1:20:16
conversion kits for a DIY there's going to be a link so you can download the free cheat sheet just click on it it'll
1:20:22
take you to the same place and uh I think this sheet is really great for diyers it gives you a place to start
1:20:28
when you don't know what products to buy um it's literally what I've bought on
1:20:34
Amazon I just took my past orders cleaned them up and put them in Excel
1:20:39
document um The Good the best part about this is we're always adding items to this list we're currently at
1:20:46
255 um but we do have a bunch more items that we're putting on here for example
1:20:52
the van behind me we're using different components you know I found some more stuff for example uh this van is getting
1:20:59
the ecoflow uh power kit the 5 kwatt Hour power kit uh it also has the um
1:21:05
nomatic cooling 48 volt AC uh so we got the wolfbox dash cam installed
1:21:14
we've got the Dyan uh uh IND Dash Apple carplay system installed a lot of cool
1:21:21
stuff so yeah definitely check out DIY van build cheat sheet and uh I think it'll really help
1:21:27
you guys out last but not least let's talk about Odyssey custom vans that's my custom van conversion business this is
1:21:33
the van that we are currently uh that is currently for sale um we'll be finishing
1:21:39
up very soon if you want to get a video of this van kind of a walk through to see what we did at Adventure van Expo in
1:21:45
chattanoga Tennessee check out the video right here on the website it's an awesome video uh during the film of that
1:21:52
video we got had to meet a lot of our subscribers in Chattanooga which U kind of blew my mind it's so awesome that you
1:21:57
guys came out there U down here we've got all the details in the van uh just a really
1:22:03
quick overview it's the turbocharged V6 ecoboost engine uh it's got a Livin slip
1:22:09
differential it also has a 600 amp hour Renegy lithium uh smart lithium battery
1:22:15
system uh coupled with the Renegy 1 M1 display so that's their new all-in-one
1:22:21
system uh communic Ates with the 3000 wat pure sine wave inverter charger
1:22:26
which is their Rigo system and uh it's really cool everything's connected um down here at
1:22:34
the bottom we've got tomatic RTX 2000 12vt AC we've got the wo airtop Evo 40
1:22:41
which automatically adjusts for altitude uh when you're going into mountains like Colorado or at certain elevations and
1:22:48
it's connected directly to the Ford auxiliary port scopa swivel seats for
1:22:53
both driver and passenger we've got a Riva sink which is everyone's favorite and the isotherm
1:22:59
Cruise 130 stainless steel fridge huge fridge uh within a van and then we go
1:23:04
all out with water capacity we've got 40 gallons of freshwater storage in the
1:23:09
van uh seven gallons of gray for the sink upgradeable to 14 gallons a 4
1:23:15
gallon bosot water tank and then we have a separate 16-gon Northwest conversion
1:23:21
graywater tank spefic specifically for the hidden shower pan so that's separate
1:23:26
from the other systems down here are some photos you
1:23:32
guys can check out if you're interested in this build some updated
1:23:38
photos uh one thing I didn't mention is Adventure wagon interior system we've
1:23:44
got the Freedman flip and fold seat so two additional passengers to take along
1:23:50
with your adventures uh flip it up out of the way when it's not in use it's a really cool uh seating system this is
1:23:57
our hidden floor pan uh shower pan from tetran it does have a top so this is the
1:24:03
top it's actually going to be coated in lawn seal so you actually won't hear see it at all but uh when we were getting to
1:24:09
the show we just left it raw so that it would kind of stand out and people could see where the floor
1:24:15
was uh this is the roof where we have our AC Max vanan 7500 K and our 420 lots
1:24:22
of solar moving on down we've got some Flatline vanco accessories such as
1:24:28
overhead cabinets uh as well as a small 24x 24
1:24:34
kitchen Galley that houses the ism Cruise 130 and then we have a 41 inch kitchen Galley um that is
1:24:42
our if I can find it there we go so the 41 in kitchen galy is what houses our 7
1:24:49
gallon gry water and our R Body sink and then coming on down we have our uh
1:24:57
Flatline vanco bed system and our Flatline vanco pullout tray which is
1:25:03
direct through bolted to the chassis of the van yes you can slide this out and sit on the back of it uh it's a 500 lb
1:25:10
capacity and it's not drilled into the floor of the van it's through bolted with grade8 Hardware which is the
1:25:17
correct way to do that in my opinion um really nice power system but
1:25:23
simple so this is the full control system for the whole entire van we got the Renegy M1
1:25:29
controller Max fan uh inverter charger and Webasto 3.0 smart temp heater
1:25:36
controller so you can do the heater control through Bluetooth on your phone
1:25:41
overhead shelf Lagoon table Mount and then if we step outside we've got the rigid
1:25:48
Industries amber light it's a scene light I like Amber because it's not as harsh as the white light um we finished
1:25:56
it off with a fi f45s awning and we actually installed a European Transit
1:26:02
Trail Ford Raptor Style Grill on the front of the van so it looks really cool
1:26:07
