hey guys welcome back to live stream I need to uh double check to the
0:29
FR is working I think we're doing good had some camera issues just a
0:36
second ago let's see
0:43
here all right we're talking about van build layout there we go okay we're working welcome so today we're going to
0:51
be talking about uh van build layout so over here what I've got is I'm making
0:58
this a video to send to a uh customer that I'm doing a quote for and
1:05
um we're going to go over what their sketch is right here on this side I'm
1:12
going to talk about this one just you get an idea of kind of something I start with and then do something that's going
1:18
to be a new build so this one is JN and Susan's uh dimensions for their layout
1:24
and then the second one is the uh next one
1:30
um over here I've got the marathon fabric that we're going to be
1:37
using and again this is just proposal quote so all this stuff can change but
1:43
they're looking at going with I think this uh Honey Cakes um it's kind of like a golden color like a wood floor type
1:51
thing uh again my last video was talking about lawn seal and this is the top seal
1:56
version so this has that extra layer of protection ction which you definitely need in Vans U so we'll go over this
2:03
stuff later I'm going to take this off so if you guys have a question about it let me know the main focus of this video
2:10
um I'm going to be sending this link to this video of this video to them and I'm
2:15
going to be going through this that way they can was it get some ideas of the concepts that I'm thinking and the parts
2:21
that I'm going to use to make this possible uh because I finished up the
2:27
numbers uh part of the quote so if you guys um were following in the
2:34
last live stream what I did was I put
2:39
together this so this is a an Excel sheet it's pretty
2:45
straightforward um this is going over everything that from our phone consultation and
2:52
kind of bringing in those uh details up into some emails that they've sent me um between now and last week and
3:00
this is what I put together so this is just the core of like the power system
3:05
Solar um the [Music] heater uh water tank fittings
3:13
Windows kitchen items interior walls and systems so this will
3:19
be interior walls and systems and stuff like that anyway we'll go over this in more detail at the end I just I
3:25
basically wanted to get um this put together so that they have a
3:32
place to uh get started when we hop on a phone call and take the next
3:38
steps okay so yeah we'll reference this later um I want to focus on the front of
3:43
this video answering the questions that I'm sending to them so let's go to
3:51
the van cam which is actually the drawing cam
3:57
today okay hopefully this is bright enough to where you can see it um I've
4:05
been trying to adjust the camera so I'm not sure how clear this is so let me
4:11
know if you can't see it and then I'll I'll change it up but I think I think it's pretty
4:16
clear yeah let me know in the comments if this is clear all right let's get into
4:22
it so even though I went to school for engineering and I I used to do 3D
4:27
modeling and stuff like that um uh I've just kind of been a pencil and Pap grid
4:33
paper type of person um it t it just takes too long for me to do it up in the
4:38
computer um I make a lot of changes when I start to sketch stuff out and really
4:43
this is what I made for John and Susan's build and it's all I needed I I didn't need to change anything I can actually
4:51
put all the little nuances and uh dimensions on here um but long story
4:57
short this grid paper that I'm using uh see what this
5:03
is It's a 17in x 22 in um grid and they're 4x4 grids so the way that I do
5:11
it on this 17in x 22 in paper with a 4x4
5:16
grid is each box doing
5:22
is okay there we go we're back we're
5:27
reconnected I think the internet dropped for a second um so back here from the back of
5:34
the van to the front of the van this is actually the seat swiveled around and turned around so we've got two points
5:40
here we've got this one in the back then we got this one right here and then we have some standardized
5:46
spacing we got 72 in 6 feet that's for the bed
5:53
typically um there's some more room at the back side of the bed but I don't take that into account unless we
5:59
designed to uh bring more space out in the back this middle section we're going
6:05
to be using uh it's 2 ft and that is for 2 ft wide that's for refrigerator or
6:12
microwave and then this remaining 18 in plus 21 in so we've got 39 in between
6:21
that uh refrigerator and the base of the seat where we got
6:27
room um and then this is the top down layout and I'll show you this again at
6:33
the end of the video um I just want to stay on this for the front of the part
6:39
of the video um but this is the top down view of John and Susan's van but essentially what I'm doing is this
6:46
layout is getting really close to what uh this customer is looking for with
6:51
their layout and they've already sent me some uh essentially AutoCAD drawings
6:56
with some measurements and layouts and stuff like that so I took that taking that into consideration and now what I'm
7:02
doing is I'm moving into um I did the quote for all the materials now I'm trying to make sure that I can fit those
7:08
materials in the van so what I'm going to do is over here on the left hand
7:15
side I've got um the same dimensions put
7:21
here but for a different B layout and so what I'm considering for
7:28
their build is is we're going to do uh we have a dinette set up here in the
7:33
back is what they're looking uh to do and so we have this 6 foot uh bench
7:42
seat for the dinette and then back here you can see that we've got the dinette right here as
7:50
well as the second set for the dinette um for balancing out weight I'm trying
7:57
to either do the batteries on this side and water tank on this side um so we'll
8:03
see where that actually ends up but their main ask for this is a shower uh
8:09
and a shower large enough to be comfortable in a lot of
8:15
um uh DIY showers uh I like to go more to a professional
8:23
side where a pre fabricated shower um although
8:28
they're more expensive I think longterm uh no leaks longterm and the
8:36
robustness of the insulation installation is what I want I want something to last for a long time I
8:41
don't want to have a van come back and have to be repair because I went with some type of wood construction and
8:49
uh you know the van was moving and the seals became loose and it leaked or something like that so what I'm doing
8:56
with the shower so this is the shower so that was our
9:03
ask um so we got the shower
9:11
here and Jamie if you're watching the stream let me know if that um if this
9:16
video quality is good to where you can actually see the the van this drawing I'll zoom in
9:24
just a little bit there you go okay so I'm going to
9:30
hop on the computer and there's a company called van wife
9:37
components and I've encouraged a lot of other companies to make a
9:45
shower uh construction offering um because I have seen some at some van
9:51
shows but so what I want to do is uh
9:56
suggest that we use their 36 inch shower so here's the 36 in shower um see what
10:04
it looks like I'd like to do it in White and the reason is when you're inside the shower you can
10:12
have a black powdercoated one it just gets makes it really dark inside so I want to go with this one um
10:19
what's nice is on the web page they give you really nice uh Dimensions as you can see
10:27
here and these are great dimensions because not only does it fit what I did for John and
10:34
Susan Susan's van now John and Susan did not make a shower they opted in for a uh
10:40
a third seat that also housed a
10:46
toilet but I want something with these Dimensions I want it to be 36 in wide
10:51
that way it's you have room inside the shower and then I wanted 26 I mean 24 in
10:57
deep so that uh we can still have room in
11:03
the the walkway of the van and that translates into having enough room for
11:09
one the door of the shower to open two uh for you to open the door of the
11:15
refrigerator which a lot of people tend to uh forget um because if the doors can
11:23
open those doors are based on the kitchen Galley depth so you want
11:30
to have that to be a good size um so this is what the unit looks like and
11:37
it's powder coated construction um aluminum includes the pan Which the pan
11:44
is actually uh I'd say probably the most expensive part about it but now when we get this shower um
11:51
one of two things are going to happen either we're going to either I'm going
11:57
to have to shift it back towards the back or towards the front in two
12:02
different positions so if I go over here right here is where I've got the
12:09
shower at the moment so it may need to shift back here to the back the reason
12:15
is um there's corate not corations but
12:21
there's supports underneath the frame of a Ford Transit and depending on where you lay
12:27
that shower and the drain is where that's going to need to drain out into
12:32
the tank so it's possible um I may move this shower back because underneath the
12:39
van here we're going to have a 20 gallon uh tank to have fur the shower to drain
12:48
into and underneath here you've got a fuel tank that's on this side then you got
12:55
the water tank right here and they're over here in this back section you have
13:01
just enough room to tap into the tank
13:07
so if it's possible for me to uh I know there's a channel right here and that's
13:14
where I ran the second alternator wiring from uh uh briyan Robbins build so they might
13:22
be able to have a drain there so regardless the shower I think from Van
13:27
wve components is perfect so again that's what it looks like so
13:33
that'll be there and then the next thing that we're going to be doing is uh I'm
13:38
suggesting the ecoflow system uh the 10,000 kwatt hour battery system
13:45
um they can opt in for just a 5 kilowatt hour but current pricing it is more
13:53
expensive to upgrade a battery later than to include it in a kit so I think they need to take ADV vage of
14:00
that but I've laid this out over here and I'm going to be able to do the uh
14:07
let me zoom
14:14
in okay so right here we've got uh we got the shower so
14:21
the driver's seat is right here and then we've got two ecoflow
14:27
batteries I think the batter are they're about 19 in by 10 so 19 by 10 11 in high
14:34
19 by 10 11 in high and then this Eco FP box
14:40
here it requires um 4 Ines on each side which uh
14:46
it's pretty that's pretty aggressive so for this space we'll just do three inches on each side um that's
14:54
going to give it plenty of ventilation we vent this front panel here
14:59
um and now remember this top picture is the side view and this one down here is
15:05
the top view so that's the that's the difference
15:11
here um so we got the two batteries and the shower and then they get that 20-gallon water
15:16
tank so we need to make sure that we're
15:23
not making the B van unbalanced um 20 gallons of water that's
15:29
a lot of weight then these two batteries are heavy and the shower system itself
15:34
and the refrigerator and up here if they do decide to get a microwave
15:40
um so that's another thing
15:46
uh the microwave up top this area up here can be different
15:52
so we don't have to have a fridge here we can do a fridge into the kitchen Galley it's going to be 65 liter uh
15:59
versus the 130 from isotherm so if you want to repurpose
16:04
this for a hanging closet or additional storage this is the additional storage
16:11
section um that was a request so they want to have a lot of
16:16
storage and this is where we would be able to do that um so we
16:23
could make a smaller fridge here and then have this area be more storage oriented
16:30
um but getting back over here to the driver side of the van we're going to
16:35
have this huge seat 6 feet by
16:40
369 21 so we got 6 feet by 21 Ines and uh it's going to be
16:49
about let's see what that how high that
16:54
was 18 in so 218 by 6 ft and that's just going to
17:03
be completely open storage you can put whatever you want in there so ton of storage over here so we'll keep that
17:08
open and we're achieving that by putting the batteries underneath the refrigerator um we're also having this
17:16
little partition here you won't see this from the front but inside this little partition
17:22
it's going to do two things one it's going to conceal the plumbing for the shower and it's going to seal the
17:30
Plumbing from the batteries and then you'll have this other little partition
17:35
here that the ecoflow uh power hub while actually be mounted to itself so you have access to the front um you need
17:42
access to the front of the ecof flow system because uh when you do power the van down for storage you will need to
17:48
manually disconnect the solar um and then when you want to do a
17:53
system reset you'll also need to be able to access the front of this to not only unplug the solar but unplug the
18:00
batteries and do a proper shutdown of the system uh that's something I learned
18:05
and uh it's on a live stream video if you want to know that little sop procedure for doing a shut down and
18:11
startup of ecoflow system properly or just ask me in the chat um yeah so this side of the van
18:18
it's pretty much spoken for as far as what's going on and for their requirements I think
18:25
this is the best solution um as we make our way to the passenger
18:31
side of the van uh the nice part about doing this layout a couple times is I
18:39
know uh dimensionally you know what I need to work with for this bench seat over here typically this doesn't turn
18:45
into a bench sheet this is just a covered cabinet uh that's underneath the
18:50
bed but this will now be changed to a a bench seat because of the dinette now if
18:57
you're making a dinette in a van you need to consider don't just map out the
19:03
dimensions for like the water pump the tank profile and the water heater profile you're going to have to either
19:08
extend or pull this back um on both sides because if you
19:14
want it to look like they do on YouTube or at shows where you know couples are taking the cushions and they're taking
19:21
the back rest and they're able to put it in the middle of the van you need to design the dinette to where those
19:27
Dimensions will make that happen for example this middle section we've got 30
19:33
in that I've designated for this middle and this middle 30 uh divid in half is 15 so you're
19:41
going to have this 15in by 72in cushion on the back side and this back side and
19:47
then what you do is that cushion comes off and that allows you to um uh make up
19:53
your your your bed right here uh
20:01
so I'm still thinking about how I'm going to do
20:06
um the support for this middle section um so I'm going to hop on a call
20:12
with them uh this weekend to see how that's going to work
20:17
out but you'll need panels to go here and
20:24
here so that you can actually make the bed happen
20:31
um so I got to think get get Innovative there um as far as doing that because I
20:37
want that this width to be wide I don't want it be to be too narrow um but we'll
20:42
we'll see where that goes and then we'll make our way over here to the kitchen Galley so I'm
20:50
anticipating using a flatline vanco kitchen Galley for this uh which is 41 in uh that 41in Galley with a 72 in in
20:59
bed so obviously this dinette is going to fold into a bed um but when you do that 72 from the
21:06
back of the van 41 up you have a 19.5 in opening here in the doorway so
21:13
we'll have a nice step from AVC rig in the doorway so you can get in and out um
21:19
but another request that they had is this little Nook underneath the kitchen Galley will have a water hookup for a
21:29
outdoor spray wand shower type of thing the AAR system like we used in
21:34
uh all the Vans Thomas's van Brian Robbins and uh John and Susan's all
21:40
those bands had the same um water
21:46
hookup and then we got our nice opening here and it's a nice and
21:52
straightforward setup um so now if you guys have any questions uh let me know
21:59
um that's just kind of an overview for the video that I wanted to send so
22:05
everything after this um we're going to talk
22:11
about uh let's see what I wanted to talk
22:20
about so let's go to AV uh let's go to
22:36
let's go here and some of the questions I had
22:44
uh is if um so they have this in white as well which I think it look really
22:50
nice so you got the white shower you got this the bamboo and then the floor I think it'll all look really nice with
22:57
the marathon fabric um but for the refrigerator I do think uh if this 65
23:05
liter is big enough for you I would suggest that and then that way
23:12
when we get over here to this storage
23:18
um let me go
23:26
up so right here a above the ecoflow system this is the space where you're
23:32
going to get a lot of additional storage whether that'll be cabinets hanging
23:38
storage or cabinet and hanging storage um up to you and what you want to do
23:43
with that okay so yeah this one with the
23:51
refrigerator in there it just makes the best use of space um so that's just what I would I would recommend if we can do
23:58
that see the ecoflow
24:03
system um one thing let's see
24:32
so we'll be going with the vellet rooftop AC 48 volt um the reason
24:40
I'm going with the vellet is there is a ecoflow and
24:48
vellet kind of combo deal at the moment um and that's that's that's just
24:55
really cool so if you go online and you just type in ecoflow vet you can get the
25:03
uh um let's see
25:20
here yeah they got a they've got a deal right now where you can get the 10,000 kwatt Independence kit plus the 48 volt
25:28
rooftop AC and the plug that's a good deal CU these are all obviously separate
25:34
um but this plug is something that you have to buy separately and uh this is good this is a excellent system now I
25:42
haven't installed a vet before but I've been watching and they have been replacing vellet they've been replacing
25:48
other manufacturers units with this vellet I know one YouTuber replace
25:54
four uh manufacturer unit
25:59
with a vellet and that kind of says something to me so um that's what we're
26:05
going to do yeah comes in this nice kit I know the guys that rack up and go so I'm
26:11
confident purchasing it from them and uh so yeah that'll be the AC
26:17
we're doing the Northwest conversions for the water tank in the
26:22
back um let's see let me try to find
26:30
so is it SNB water
26:38
tanks
26:48
Transit okay it's actually 22 gallons the one I got is 22 I thought it was thought it was
26:54
20 um so this is the tank that I just
26:59
so I had this one in the shop um and this is a new one I haven't I usually
27:04
like to use uh Northwest conversions um I just
27:09
wanted to try this one out so it does have an additional two gallons of capacity so this is a brand new system
27:16
and I like the way that this is mounting
27:21
because the other way of mounting was a pain in the butt so this looks very very
27:29
promising um so here's the dimensions for that
27:34
tank this was so 22 gallons this tank would be this is an undermount tank goes
27:41
underneath the Ford on the driver's side it's 22 gallons so you can kind you kind
27:47
of see in this photo um that top uh is where the drain is where you put the
27:53
drain in so you'll have to cut that plastic out and and I showed that in another
27:59
video however it looks like I can actually drain the shower into the top
28:05
of this so I may be able to do that in a different way that's
28:13
going to be really cool so if I can make this work we'll put the shower and we maybe
28:20
we do we can do a direct drain from the shower into this
28:25
tank um
28:31
so someone was concerned about not doing P traps and the smell uh my
28:37
recommendation is you can have two different worlds you can have one where
28:44
you get this uh let me pull it
28:52
out so you can have this integrated P trap which looks like this this is what most RVs have so it goes to a normal
28:59
sink drain and then goes to this uh 1/ inch Outlet the problem is this has like a
29:06
integrated P trap but the flow rate is really really slow so if you're okay
29:13
with that you might have to get to a point where you actually have to um you know turn the shower off let it drain I
29:20
don't think that's what you want to experience in a shower so what i' what I do and this is where somebody questioned
29:26
me on a video is I have a direct flowing drain just like you do in your house minus the P trap now my thought behind
29:34
that is um what we're going to there's a stopper
29:41
in the tank of sinks so you're going to be able to put
29:48
the stopper in and then that way your smells don't come into the van if there is any um so that's the way you control
29:56
that the benefit is you can use your sink like a normal household sink it's going to flow into the gray tank just
30:01
like normal the shower same thing it's going to flow into the tank just like normal so as long as you have a drain
30:07
that you can put a stopper in um that's my recommendation
30:30
let's see they've got
30:35
a yep they even got a video that's pretty nice I have to look up this level
30:43
indicator that' be cool to have that way you don't mess up when you do take a shower if you don't know what's in there
30:51
um yeah so I need to
30:58
so what does it
31:05
say huh okay I'm G to have to research that yeah I typically don't use uh water
31:12
tank gauges but that might be a good idea anyway so this is for the driver's
31:17
side if you want more storage then there is
31:24
also the uh passenger
31:31
side um now this company I again I haven't install this yet I have it in my
31:37
shop but um they had some delays in shipping and so this took a long time to
31:43
get um yeah two to four weeks which if
31:49
you're doing a van build that's not that's that's not it's not the worst we can we can we can work on that um
32:09
that's funny if you're impatient it says go to Northwest conversions they always have in stock that is funny now I will
32:14
say these SMB tanks they're two gallons more no they're four gallons more on the passenger side
32:21
than uh the other ones so I do have a tank for the passenger
32:28
side but this customer has a side step and that tanket that I have in the shop
32:33
will not work for their application
32:39
um H see this see this step so you have to have these special cutouts for the
32:46
step so I think that'll be cool um yeah I may go ahead and call them
32:53
tomorrow and see if we just go ahead and order this um just to get it
33:00
moving but if we put this on the passenger side that frees up even more room for so check this out so we go back
33:08
to the drawing so we're looking down here let me move the
33:24
camera okay so over here this is the kitchen galley
33:30
this whole space under here this space if you do an undermount tank and 22
33:36
gallons you know that may feel like Overkill but you're all you're doing is just maximiz maximizing space the Tank's
33:43
300 bucks I think that's a great deal um but underneath here if you move the gray
33:49
water to underneath the van then this all this area underneath the sink becomes more storage so if
33:56
you're considering that you want more storage uh under mount Tank's good especially for gray water um I mean if
34:03
you're not going into really deep freezing environments uh I think is a good idea um because what you can do is
34:11
just pour a little bit of uhv antifreeze down the drain and just keep it kind of
34:16
sloshing around in the tank underneath there um and then just keeping the tank drained now what you can do you can
34:23
always have an undermount tank for the gray water and just have an extra Jerry can inside in
34:30
case you're going into freezing temps and it should be kind of obvious you just drain the tank underneath your van
34:35
on the passenger side and just only use the tank inside your van so you got options um the water heater we're using
34:44
a 4 gallon Bosch it's just a small residential hot water heater um for this
34:50
build we will be crossing the lines um
34:55
inside the van but it will be under the floor and I know that gets some people kind of
35:00
worried but I do not worry we're going to put the the poly ISO down we're going to
35:07
have the uh the PEX lines PEX a very robust Plumbing it's going to go from
35:13
one side under to the shower
35:18
um and so you'll have insulation underneath it the floor on top of it and
35:25
uh what I'll do is there will be there will be gravity drain right here underneath the sink area so that if you
35:32
do think you're going to be into an area where you won't be able to access the van for a while and you need to drain it
35:37
you'll have a nice gravity drain over here by the sink um whenever I drain a
35:44
van I put there's a a drain in the very back here so it's a half inch valve
35:49
drain it's pretty slow but um you're just not you're cutting less out of the
35:55
van and you're cutting uh to get the tank to dump fast you
36:00
waste a lot of uh area back here that you need for the pump and the valves and
36:07
stuff like that so the half inch line is just nice and convenient so you have a drain here if
36:12
you want the van tank to pump out faster just put your hose in here turn the pump on and as this is draining go ahead and
36:19
drain with the hose as well that way the pump is pumping out the water and gravity is filling draining the tank so
36:26
it's kind of a winwin on that um so that's my recommendation we're going to do a 15 by
36:34
20 rava sink uh excellent sink
36:40
um yep we got the lawn s floor we'll do everything just like we did in pass Vans
36:48
where uh we fully insulate the floor um this van will actually have uh
36:58
we're going to do this
37:05
system actually I'll make that call when we finally do some final numbers um I
37:10
have [Music] the flooring kit from ABC rig in
37:19
here uh this is just good because it does include the step and trim and the
37:25
flooring and the instulation and pre-cut at this is this is more of a speed item
37:31
um it takes me longer to uh do this uh one off from oh wait let
37:39
me there we go so this is the transit instulation and subfloor system with step and trim
37:45
from ABC rig if I do it one off and I cut it here
37:51
in the shop so that's manually installing the the vinyl strips the
37:57
floor and all that stuff if I do that it takes uh a little over twice as long to
38:04
install that system uh so this flooring system is already ready to go it's in
38:09
three pieces it gets shipped here it's already pre-insulated and pre CNC cut
38:17
um so I do like
38:25
that all right we got some people online do we have any questions you guys have
38:31
any questions from uh this uh proposal on putting together for a customer I'm going to pretty much send this video to
38:37
them when I get done making it tonight um but I want I just wanted to go over the drawing that I put together
38:43
for them where some items are in here what options that we're going with uh
38:49
just so they can get a update on what's going on so yeah if you guys have questions
38:56
now would be a perfect time to ask um so ask
39:06
away and let's see if I if I didn't go over anything in
39:15
here there are some extra stuff in here so
39:34
like for example I put kept the wolf box stuff in here because I think that stuff's pretty cool they want to
39:39
possibly go with a different uh camera system maybe something that they found on Amazon that's more of like security
39:45
camera so they can do the left and right hand side of the van so we talked about that um
39:57
yeah so this is the higher number for parts if you guys are
40:09
wondering so I kind of I probably went this is probably right at exactly 40,000
40:15
it's at 44,000 because there's two things I'm not sure that we may be are maybe not doing um like this fridge
40:22
stack and shower unit um that is just a ball part range
40:28
of doing a custom built-in around the shower area um for the microwave uh
40:36
refrigerator uh if they don't want that we'll do something different um that's just kind of a placeholder uh depending
40:42
on what we're going to do so I put those placeholders in there
40:48
so that when we look at a number we usually have the higher number first and then we can actually chip away at it
40:54
um or if the higher number works and they want to add more there's just it's
40:59
a more uh black and white way to do the
41:05
van build um because this is exactly what I'm purchasing this or this is the exact
41:13
price of these items so if we change out wiring or we change out the Eco flow for
41:20
example I actually need to change this so this because I want to see here
41:27
10 609 so let's go so this is
41:34
10 609 then we'll bring the formula
41:39
up and this is our we want to go to 10 there we
41:49
go for example what we can do is I'll just show you here live um so here's some hanging storage
41:57
and then we can just go through and zero out this
42:04
stuff [Music] um you know maybe is are at the cooktop
42:09
they might want to get their own and then let's see if there's anything
42:17
else they did want to do the they did want to do the background let's
42:23
see here we go Julia just subscribed
42:32
welcome what is this browser sub
42:41
alert okay hold on a second I need to I need to add something here
43:07
there we go okay I had it turned off on this screen now we can see who subscribes on this
43:14
screen all right C bamboo um they did mention they wanted to have that bamboo
43:19
backing uh so I got that um these Lagoon tables we got to figure
43:26
this out cu we're going to yeah that's one thing that would change the price
43:36
um air fryer this is a
43:46
microwave the window this is a crl window
43:58
just some Pex fittings Pex fittings are very expensive
44:05
but they're they do exact they they're worth their price in my
44:12
opinion but when you when you do PEC in a van just map it out with a drawing
44:18
make sure everything's nice and neat and laid out because since they are expensive you don't want to mess up as
44:24
you're connecting some stuff cuz three mist could be like 30 40
44:35
bucks um so this uh okay where did
44:50
I this is why you double check everything okay there's the Tetra van
44:57
let's see here
45:06
okay okay so I didn't go I didn't update
45:13
this okay so now we need to go and put the
45:39
okay that's actually cool camper van HQ actually has this
45:44
product okay
46:18
so we got a for for Transit high and midroof vent adapter this will be for the AC unit we're not doing another Max
46:25
fan so we can take that down um I've got the 4 kilowatt gasoline
46:33
heater and I've got this one the more expensive one because this uh so I'm
46:39
actually Webasto certified installer um and repair at the shop
46:45
which is pretty nice I took a course and got uh certified in that so it's pretty cool um but the
46:54
2kw heater does not do automat altitude adjustment so if you do T think
47:00
you're going to spend some time up in Colorado or something like that for more than two weeks
47:07
um or at elevation in general it's better to get this one uh I think it's
47:13
only like three or $400 difference but the 4 kwatt Hour is going to do uh Auto altitude calculation or
47:24
adjustment so it'll do it behind the scenes you won even know it's doing it
47:29
um now one thing let's see I did not add this so I go to a company called
47:41
vacs and they have these heater kits for
47:46
Vans um so if we go to gasoline and we go to
47:53
Webasto and we go to actually let's take off a
47:58
basto let's go to Ford so there's a 2K and it is
48:06
1,700 and then we've got the uh the
48:14
4K okay this one is with the uh so this has the Bluetooth kit which is really
48:22
cool so let's just go ahead and
48:29
let's change that 26
48:48
3954 okay let's make sure we get the right part number
49:06
all right so now we just kind of we just go through
49:12
and so 485
49:53
so these Lagoon table mounts um these two are ones that we're probably
49:59
not going to use those they go from the passenger and driver side and so if we
50:05
do the shower or the refrigerator we won't need it for that
50:12
um so let's do one for the passenger slim mounting
50:20
bracket that comes in the kit we need one lagood table let's just do
50:28
uh we got two oh the fway seat there we go that's
50:35
the big one where we're taking off I think they don't want to do
50:43
that um 24 in Galley we'll take that off okay so now we're getting back
50:50
into
50:55
um for
51:29
so we do have two swivel seats on here I'm not sure if they want so we're just going to do one because that driver side will be not
51:49
usable this is a 22 gallon tank
52:08
okay the last thing that I'll talk about in this video um again let me know what your questions are the last thing is
52:15
this go
52:21
code this go code Overland um they have a they have two
52:28
pieces of kit that uh were very challenging me to do manually and now
52:34
they've actually make a thermoform plastic version of both pieces so the first one is the rear is a
52:42
four Transit uh dillar trim kit and uh I don't know if I
52:59
okay so I didn't put that in here I need to put that in
53:06
here okay so this Ford Transit dillar trim
53:16
kit I got to check my other computer because I'm added some stuff last night and it
53:23
may not have come over the live stream rig and the other
53:28
computer are separate um okay that's the wrong
53:35
formula there we go and I I'll check the formulas too
53:40
before I send this over to them okay so that goes around the the
53:47
trim kit um they do have it upholstered in heather gray uh I want to do that
54:04
and again these things can be changed when you're putting this together
54:10
um because there's you know you spend more money and the time gets shrunk not
54:15
only for you also me um and so
54:23
uh well actually can't say for me sometimes um it does make it
54:29
faster so let's go back to that's okay never mind they make a
54:35
full kit this is great and it's in heather gray a this is
54:47
awesome this is excellent this is perfect this is exact this is great
54:53
1860 okay so we're going to do this one
55:07
am I butchering
55:17
that okay that
55:24
is okay so if you go with a kit what is the price difference 1860
55:31
versus that's
55:41
eight okay yeah you Sav money by doing it as a kid there you go
55:50
excellent okay that I think that's the last thing I wanted to add to this quote was that
55:57
all right so yeah I'm gonna go clean this
56:10
up I'll clean this up send this over tomorrow but um yeah you guys
56:17
watching you guys have any questions this is uh Hopefully this wasn't too long um yeah everything everything I
56:24
make is about an hour um yeah if you guys have questions on this
56:31
drawing we can talk about it in the next live stream if you have any questions on that um same thing as this this layout
56:39
was built or this uh quote was built and two live streams ago if you want to look back at those but yeah um wanted to also
56:48

57:30
kind of behind the scenes on how I create those offgrade power system design what you need to know fresh and
57:36
graywater storage a little bit about the tanks that I talked about tonight insulation and sound dampening where to go what to
57:44
get how to start as far as installing that and then wrapping it up with exterior
57:49
upgrades and this access to our private online community this is really cool so at the top here there is a
57:58
forum and so if you guys are in the course you got access uh to The
58:05
Forum so
58:12
uh so for example we've got these questions here so if you're in the
58:18
course you can ask me questions directly into the forum um if not you guys can go to vampit HQ and you can see what i' how
58:25
I've answered these questions uh for help but if you're in the course you get to be a part of the Forum and ask
58:31
questions back and forth um here is uh tww Transit is in there and he asked
58:38
about um some advice as far as uh the interior layout and what was
58:47
cool is he says that he will be uploading a PDF soon for people to comment on um
58:57
so okay I'm going to follow up on this
59:03
because 10
59:09

59:16
a the PDF all right that's something I work on tomorrow we'll get this uh attachment
59:23
