and all that good stuff so he's gonna have a good time hanging on the van for the first time tonight which is really

cool it's the first time he's got to actually spend the night in his van so he's chilling out it's uh it's gonna be

about 50-ish degrees tonight so pretty cold um I've got my diesel heater on just to

uh top everything off and I'm gonna cut it off before I go to bed uh early morning tomorrow I'm gonna

start about seven o'clock and I gotta go to the auto parts store I get some fuses

uh I've got a LED light that I need to that blew a fuse on his van I gotta replace that

uh put some foam up in the corner and then we're gonna clean everything out uh put all his extra stuff in my van drive

it back over here so I'm at a camping spot right now across the street you can do

into a contest and do that but then there's the Vans you enter into the main show which is Thomas's van so we did

uh I like the booth set up so because you get the truck so walk us through

the truck actually talk about these components over here on the table and then we'll head over to the truck

and uh show what's kind of cool over there sure yeah um so the great thing about the red Arc system is you get a

lot of components in one package so this main piece right here is this is your battery manager so this is going to be a

DC to DC charger 30 amp charger from the alternator mppt solar controller it's

going to be your battery isolator and it's also a 110 to 12 volt converter so you could plug Shore power in charge

your batteries up that way in conjunction with the red Vision system so this would be your distribution box

so all of your loads will come out of here you can run up to 10 different circuits it'll monitor up to six water

tanks and two temperature probes and it'll communicate with the screen here and you can control everything from here

turn everything on and off and uh like you said before also Bluetooth it's your phone and have full capability that way

this is so the way that I found about redarc is through a four wheel drive channel of

the Australia guys with a four-wheel Adventure or something like that yeah there's a bunch of different ones 24 7 is a good one um they're super hardcore

and this is the type of truck that they have set up to go out and out back and just just tear stuff up so as far as

reliability I don't think we're gonna have an issue right no I mean our you know our motto when it comes to this

stuff is nobody's going to come to save you so you want to make sure your stuff is going to be fully operational in any

condition that you find yourself in heck yeah um and I think the truck's nice too because it kind of it's going to show

you more visually how what's doing what so right kind of walk it through like somebody doesn't know

what these components are and like where is the power coming from and where does it go into sure yeah so right off the

bat with our our battery manager this is taking uh amperage right off the alternator

um it converts that alternator charge into a three-phase charge um whether you're running a lead acid

battery an AGM battery gel battery a lithium battery we have profiles set up in here for each one

um when you install it you'll it'll tell you how to wire it specifically for which battery profile and that's going

to make sure that battery stays completely charged and whenever you get to where you're going you're ready to go it's got the solar controller built in

as well I've got a small foldable solar panel up there that I'm taking power from right now if you're running a hard

mounted panel or anything like that that's going to be um it's going to be in operation while you're driving it'll pull from solar

first Green Technology and then it will only pull from the alternator what it needs from there that it's not getting

from that so that's running into my two batteries I've got two lithium batteries in the back back here and then from the

batteries into our distribution box distribution box is talking to the controller so that's where you're going

to get the fun stuff you can see exactly what your system's doing

and you can go through and turn all your stuff on and off from here

you can have up to 10 different circuits on there and you could go in when you program it and change the little pictures to what you want

um there's several different to choose from to kind of give you an idea what you're turning on and off and then you can match that on your phone as well

through our app and control everything from your phone as well which is helpful if you're sitting over there by the

campfire and you want to get up and come to the come to the tent you can flip your lights on before you come illuminate the area it's pretty neat

setup and then we've got our line of inverters just came to the US here recently we've got anything from 400

watts up to 3000 up to 3 000 Watts so these are for sale now I know they had like the European version but you guys

of this and why it's so easy to troubleshoot yeah I mean it's great each one of these fuses is for each

individual circuit you've got 530 amp loads and 5 10 amp loads it'll have an LED illuminate if you have any type of

short or a fuse uh below anything like that so it's quick and easy it identifies itself and you've got a

problem for for quick troubleshooting the last thing you want to do is be out on the trail somewhere playing around with your electrical system you want to

um two-wheel drive um yeah brand new got 600 miles on it and we just finished out this build uh

the kitchen Galley right here yeah so um yeah uh induction cooktop uh nice

deep sink little uh these are body sinks we use a lot um just come with all the

accessories um and I got a little extra countertop space

that up got a nice little countertop um see what else so we got coming back

around to the fridge a little flip out for all your cleaning

utilities kind of got your control panel here uh your avasto

um control battery monitor water pump just some switches and stuff uh nice

size fridge it's actually a lot bigger than it looks then can pack like a pretty good amount of groceries in there

yeah freezer too yup the freezer so that's that and then quite a bit of

storage actually on this sink um you can probably build it out with some stuff and and actually utilize it a

little better but after that and you have a gray tank yes so uh both on our mounts are gone in the

chassis you've got a 20 gallon fresh water tank 15 gallon gray water tank freshwater tank has uh has heating pads

on it so if it gets cold too cold they're gonna kick on and keep everything from freezing up um so we really wanted to keep like the

whole idea for this whole build is to keep it um completely open and have as much space as possible

um but still having everything you need so we want to keep the water tanks underneath outside of the van

um so that's that we got a bench a bunch of storage space in here

um of tools and beer right now drawers a little portable toilet

nice little just kind of hangout spot really um it's a little place to sit got kind

of eating locations for both driver and passenger seats and you got a uh blue

then also the ability to start from a blank slate so what we've done here is we've put

together a wheelchair accessible van layout and they're very rare I mean if you go

impossible to get the width that I needed to have like a standard Amazon or some other mattress put in this van

problem is uh the ease of use to get the mattress folded in and folded out

so we kind of thought of an idea to put the mattress here and the two cutouts the problem is who

who is going to do this so um here we go we have Rome rest and uh

chance of anything falling through and so what we were looking at is we have this big Center section that we can make

one piece and then we've got the The Head and the foot or vice versa and so

we're gonna have those pieces filled in as well and so we're gonna do our ultimate build and it's going to be very

similar to a residential style mattress so that way you get to stay comfortable water out about so we'll be filling in

piece that flips over and fills that gap between uh the mattress platform and the
