van from somebody that had already done

uh there's a rooftop AC unit and uh

struts so uh this customer found me

there's two things that were broken

these two gas uh shock struts uh gas

shocks um they're broken they didn't

work anymore so I replaced them this is

was broken on the passenger side so I

replaced that um so she was happy with

with the work and she was excited to get

some other things working in her van we

and in this uh van so here here's the

so anybody can do something like

this so we did all those

repairs um but in this van there's two

things in here there's a uh rooftop AC

unit which is 110 volt unit and then

back here in the back we have a high

sense 120 volt fridge and there are two

outlets that are uh 120 volt now the

only way that the AC can run is if she

is plugged into a

campground so if she's not plugged into

a campground she can't run the AC and if

also if she's not plugged in Campground

there's not enough power to supply the

the inverter to get the fridge running

so really unless she's plugged in

nothing really uh will run there is a

lead acid battery back here that we're

going to open up and I'm going to show

and I don't recommend that you install a

battery like this uh if you have a

lithium battery those are sealed if you

have a sealed AGM that's good this one

is not so this is a Le acid

this they put this box here with a vent
