hey everyone welcome back to the channel tonight we're going to be talking about heavy duty drawer slides in your camper van and we're going to go over a couple
1:50
of uh questions here um what sparked this uh live stream tonight was I wanted
1:56
to answer a question from a subscriber the question was I enjoyed your video from the adventure van Expo so thanks so
2:03
much for watching uh they downloaded our Amazon list of products which is our DIY
2:09
van build cheat sheet which I will show you guys um later in the video today so
2:16
it's this DIY van build cheat sheet and if we go to Van
2:25
Builder HQ
2:34
go the website I'll show you the
2:45
link so you go to your website van Builder hq.com the DIY vanu sheat sheet
2:51
is what he's talking about and in this cheat sheet uh it's an essentially an essentially an Excel spreadsheet and it
2:59
has all of the products that I've bought over the past three years on it uh all organized so you guys can look at
3:07
anything like electrical items uh hardware tools Fasteners stuff like that
3:14
and this this list you can get on the websites by just uh clicking over
3:19
here where my windows going got to get warmed up for the live
3:26
stream haven't done it in about a couple days there we go all right there's the
3:33
website so this is the DIY V build cheat sheet they're talking about the list of products are in there however the drawer
3:39
slides are not in here yet so what I wanted to do is make this video and we're going to go through a couple
3:45
different dra slide options ones that I've purchased and then ones I've also purchased from other companies uh such
3:51
as Flatline vanco uh so there's no sponsorship between any of this it's just good information for you guys easy
3:58
way to find out um what I'm using here in the shop eventually we will get it on this
4:04
DIY van build cheat sheet you can sign up for but if you want to go ahead and download it it's completely free just
4:10
put your email address in it's going to come straight to your inbox and it'll help you out with your van build and we'll talk again about it
4:17
later at the end of the live stream um but yeah just wanted to talk about right now so you know where that question is
4:24
coming from so the rest of question was uh uh I didn't see any drawer slides uh
4:30
do you have a recommendation on drawer slides so what I did for you guys is I
4:36
went through and I made let get this window changed over
4:52
here there we go so I made this
4:58
uh a couple answers to these questions I picked some questions I thought were important talking about when you're
5:05
going through the process of getting a heavy duty drawer slide for your van so we'll go through each one of these um
5:11
and that'll essentially be the live stream tonight if you guys have any question on this you can ask the comments ask the questions in the
5:18
comments um below and i' be happy to answer them in this
5:24
video so what is a heavy duty drawer slide I'm going to show you a couple examples I would have right here in the
5:31
shop uh this one right here is for a cabinet drawer so if you go to Lowe's or
5:36
Home Depot and you're working in your home and say a drawer broke uh you may be um familiar with drawer slides so
5:43
stuff that you use in your kitchen and it looks something like this it's something that bolts to the drawer bolts
5:48
to the cabinet and then it will you know slide in or slide out it can have a sloft soft close
5:56
um G have a soft close feature or um it
6:01
can have uh like a locking feature so this is a small one so this is kind of what you're familiar with now when you
6:07
move up to the heavy duty drawer slides you're going to look at something like this so something that is extremely
6:15
heavy duty and has a locking mechanism uh right here on the end so that it does
6:22
two things it locks in place and then when you pull it
6:28
out let get our camera to stop moving
6:33
here there we
6:41
go man we're a little rusty on the live stream tonight aren't we there we go okay so we got our drawer
6:49
slide it locks into place and then when you open it so you depress it it's going
6:54
to open up here and extend and then it's going to lock into place
7:00
um I'm a fan of the Locking door slides there are some that don't lock they just pull
7:05
in uh they pull out and they slide back in but most of the heavy duty ones
7:10
you're going to see you're going to want to have some type of locking feature so that when this heavy load gets put on
7:16
the drawer uh it's not going to fall back into the van when you're trying to load it um and then when you're moving
7:22
in the van it's not going to pull out of the way so this is a uh shorter version
7:28
but 500 lb so it's extremely thick you can see how thick the drawer slide
7:35
is and then we're going to talk about this one over here uh this is the Flatline vanco
7:41
drawer slide it's a 500 lb drawer slide as
7:46
well and this is the one you probably saw a thumbnail on the channel I was sitting on it and I can sit on it and go
7:53
in and out no problem it can take the load and we're also going to talk about in the notes Here
7:59
how it's able to do that with the way that we have it bolted to the
8:09
van okay let's get back to
8:14
the computer here all right understand the importance of heavy duty drawer slides in camper
8:20
van conversions is where we're going to start and this is what I typed up about an hour
8:26
ago uh so the first thing is Heavy D drawer slides help to slide in andout
8:31
items that exceed normal cabinet style drawer slides so if you went to low or
8:37
Home Depot and you think that a regular cabinet drawer is going to hold the
8:43
weight of say a cooler or um you know a bunch of camping gear or something like
8:49
that uh it's not going to work it may go in and out a couple times particularly
8:54
what's going to happen is the the you the ball bearings inside they may break
9:00
uh the guides inside those are made of plastic and they can also break because of the weight so it's just important to
9:09
um you know have that consideration when you're uh trying to look at a heavy duty
9:15
drawer slide next one is um make sure that they come with the locking mechanism help it safely stop from
9:21
coming all the way out of the vehicle like we talked about earlier uh or moving while a van is moving so it stays
9:28
nice and secure and there's different types of heavy duty drawer slides uh that we're going
9:34
to look at and these are the two that uh we will add to the DIY V build cheat
9:39
sheet um so these are the two that I've purchased and I'll show you what I'm going to use them for this first one
9:47
again all these have weird names um because they're on Amazon but this one is a pair of heavy
9:55
duty drawer slides with a 470 lb
10:01
rating uh and a locking Rail and then you're going to go down
10:07
here and this is uh something that is going to be important to you it will be
10:14
selecting how far they extend keep in mind that one part uh
10:22
that may not be associated with the measurement of the door slide or you may not be considering is this in piece so
10:30
this the metal part right here may be you know 24 in for example but this is
10:35
going to you know stick out into your van so make sure you get something where
10:42
um you you just know that this is going to be there for example if you need to put this in a cabinet and you don't make
10:49
it long enough you might be able to not access this to unlock it so make sure
10:54
that this actually kind of sticks out from your Cabinetry or the back of the van so you can can actually uh you know
11:00
manipulate
11:05
it now you can have it with a lock and without a lock so these are the
11:11
two um options you may ask why would you
11:16
not use a lock so imagine that you had uh like a dedic fridge or like an ARB
11:23
something that has uh that already has um a locking mechanism with the unit it
11:32
just doesn't have the sliding component so it may be able to mount in a van and strap down but it doesn't have the
11:38
sliding capability uh if it does have the sliding capability you get one with out
11:44
a lock and then use the Locking floor mechanism of maybe whatever it could be
11:50
ARB or dedic like I was saying let me see if I can actually find that while we're talking about
11:57
it again if you guys are just hopping on the uh live stream definitely ask uh
12:02
questions if you
12:27
have't so this is just a quick example but if
12:33
you can see this fridge on the right we have some tie down straps and ARB comes with its own little platform to tie
12:39
everything down they do have their own sliding platform but if you wanted to maybe have extend longer than the the
12:46
factory one you may want to modify it using a uh heavy duty drawer slide but
12:53
something like this that has straps it could strap itself down and then that way you wouldn't need the Locking feature but nine times out of 10 you're
13:00
going to want the lockin feature uh so we looked at this one from
13:06
Amazon we'll look at let's see here with lock so you can see the little tabs You de press to unlock it this is a chart to
13:15
let you know uh the schematics on you know the length and the width of
13:22
the draw heavy duty draw slide itself now remember the length is not that big
13:28
of a deal um you'll want it exactly you know as long as the area that you want what I
13:34
found that's more of a deal is the thickness of the drawer slide itself so
13:40
right here how thick the actual bar is because what it does is it
13:47
uh the inner drawer is has to be much narrower because some of these heavyd
13:52
drawer slides are you know half inch thick to 3/4 inch thick uh so pretty
13:58
thick and you know 3/4 and 3/4 is an inch and a half that you're taking away from a drawer system so just make sure
14:06
that you accommodate for that so a couple other details down here
14:13
and then you can kind of see some some options on Amazon they even got a video um and then
14:19
you can use it for I mean really heavy stuff you know it's load rated to that weight capacity for a reason and that's
14:27
we know why you're using it now the one that I have here that I've been showing you guys this one is for
14:37
uh uh to put to use with the U porta potty inside the van so this is so that
14:44
somebody can sit on the toilet and have the drawer move in and out and uh now we
14:50
want to have that so that we can Stow the portapotty but at the same time we
14:56
want everything to be convenient to where you're not actually having to take the the porta potty off put it down to the van floor pick it back up and put it
15:02
back on the drawer you can just keep it on the drawer it's it's the convenience factor so that's why this one's short
15:09
it's only as wide as the uh Flatline vanco cabinets that we have inside the
15:15
van so it's going to go on this side so you can kind of see if it mounted up towards the wall that's where it's going to come out
15:23
within the U The Kitchen Gallery area up front
15:32
the next one that I have on this list uh this is one I got from my personal van
15:37
now this one is it's also a 500 lb door slide but notice you can kind of pick and choose some vendors are uh products
15:45
will have a blue uh end some will have a yellow end and you can use it as your preference I
15:52
don't think it means anything as far as what load capacity it is I think it's just like a a coding they put on it
16:00
um but the uh let's see here yeah some of these are black yellow
16:13
orange um then if we go down to the info on this [Music]
16:19
one this one's got some good pictures you can see a lot of people like to use
16:25
these heavy drawer heavy duty drawer slides for bik bikes so you have a fixed
16:30
mounting plate that you put the bikes on and then you're going to have the drawer
16:35
slide that's going to allow you to access that and I talk about it in here
16:42
make sure I'm not getting off track um yeah I'll just come back to this we'll just look at these examples for right
16:50
now as you can see it stows away inside the van also you can repurpose this for
16:56
tools so somebody that's maybe watching this video might not be a van related but you know if you're a handyman you
17:02
can use it for tools I've actually seen people use this as a uh to move in and
17:08
out a bed platform because they wanted to you know kind of sleep under the stars with their van and if you have
17:16
500lb drawer slides you know you can have you know a light bed pop that out
17:22
and extend the bed a little bit um out into the back of your van for a kind of pretty cool experience
17:31
this is also you know repurposing it for the side of the van and I talk about in the notes how you can use space that you
17:39
otherwise couldn't access otherwise did I say otherwise
17:45
PR it's late in the night here so you can imagine if this is underneath the
17:51
seat in your van and you have gear this is going to allow you to fully extend it
17:56
all the way out and get to the back of it and it's just a really it's a great uh piece of Hardware where other drawer
18:04
slides may only open halfway um that's one thing I'm glad I'm
18:09
talking about we are talking about uh importance of
18:15
full extension full
18:21
extension heavy duty drawer slides full extension I'm glad I caught that little
18:28
mistake there full extension uh if you don't get full
18:34
extension let's see let me show you what what
18:39
happens so regular drawer slide you pull this out and it may open to right there
18:46
so the drawer base is still back here so it doesn't fully extend this is designed
18:52
for full extension so you see it goes It goes out uh the draw is here fully
18:58
extends the drawer so that if this was a cabinet you're accessing the very back of the drawer completely it's not hidden
19:05
slightly inside the cabinet um so if you can imagine you know at your house using
19:11
kitchen cabinets the door might pull out maybe 3/4 of the way but that back half
19:16
that back quarter you can't get to um it's because it's not a full extension drawer
19:24
slide yeah so uh yeah Amazon's got some pretty good good examples
19:30
of you know what people use draw slides for so it's pretty good even for batteries batteries are very heavy hard
19:37
to access so this is a uh good way to do
19:42
it all right so we've talked about these two let's look at one that's pre-made
19:49
from a company that is uh also with a tray um I'm getting not sponsored but I
19:55
do enjoy Flatline vanco products that's what's in the van behind me so this
20:00
drawer slide that you guys saw here the beginning of the live stream
20:05
the one back here let's just go back to it real quick so this one this is flatl
20:12
vanc CO's drawer slide 500lb drawer slides and we will go
20:18
to the computer and let's see
20:24
here uh it's got some pretty cool features uh it's a lock in door slide so locks in locks
20:30
out there's a pre-made hole with a plastic cover if you needed to like wash the mountain bikes off or whatever you
20:36
have you can wash it and it'll drain out that Port um it's got some mounting
20:43
holes uh to mount it to the van six per side uh
20:50
let's go talk about that really quick so tips for installing your heavy
20:56
duty drawer slides in your van
21:02
so the first one is finding a location where you can actually through bolt through bolts through the chassis uh let
21:08
me explain while that why that is important and I'm going to draw draw that out real
21:22
quick okay so let's uh get some color here so this let's show that we
21:31
are okay we're in the van this is the back of the van there's
21:37
the front just go with me on this we got a wheel well you know maybe this is the
21:42
front of the van we got a driver's uh driver seat up here um but back here in
21:48
the back we want to put a drawer slide in and it's probably going to be something
21:54
like this and we want to extend it that
22:00
way now if we want to extend this out we got to think about forces so not
22:08
to get too engineering on you but if you have weight coming
22:15
down here then this is going to want to come up so you kind of
22:22
have uh if you guys remember your little full Chrome right there but what's nice
22:29
about this is you're not pivoting off of this you're going to have bolts coming through
22:36
it so we have a bolt here bolt here bolt here you have six
22:43
places for bolts now what I did is I just placed them in these
22:51
locations one way that you could put this in your van is just to bolt it straight to the wood floor and you if
22:58
you builted it straight to the wood floor you think you would be fine but that's really risky because if you
23:03
actually load this up uh with you know all of your gear
23:09
boxes um I don't know if you had like a you got a bike on there something like
23:16
that if you load it up with all your gear bags sleeping bags and you're
23:21
getting close to that 500 lb capacity uh the issue you're going to have is
23:30
when you start moving that weight out of the
23:35
van this Force right here is going to get bigger
23:41
and it's going to load it's not going to bend the the drawer slide but it's going to load that
23:47
up and make it to where
23:54
um there's a lot of pressure right here on the floor and if you're just using wood
24:02
screws it you know it might be bad the wood screws
24:07
might pull out or break uh once the drawer actually makes it all the way outside of the van and has that much
24:14
weight here and there's only wood screws holding it so my solution for you guys
24:21
or my recommendation is that you find a location where you can bolt it through the chassis and you use automotive grade
24:28
8 bolts so those are extremely high a very high strength
24:34
bolts and what this going to do is going to allow you to use less bolts so less
24:41
Drilling and you're going to have more
24:46
um uh it's going to be a stronger connection so what I did is I used uh
24:52
two grade8 bolts here two right here and then two right here
24:58
so we got two two and two the two here I
25:03
put up front because that's where most of the force is pulling up the one in the back right here that's just to keep
25:09
it from you know lifting up in the back and by doing that you only have to
25:16
drill six holes instead of 12 and it's extremely
25:22
strong but you want to go through the chassis of the van because that is where you're going to have the strength to
25:28
actually do what I did in the video which is sit on it you know really show you guys that it is bolted into the van
25:36
very well uh and it's very safe you don't want your floor being ripped out
25:41
you don't want something expensive that's on the drawer door slide to fall off and break like a you know a uh dedic
25:50
cfx 75 fridge you know something that's very heavy but also expensive uh you don't want that so my
25:57
recommendation to you is grade8 bolts bolt it through the chassis and
26:04
then allow for enough clearance in front of and above the drawer so let's let me
26:10
show you what I'm talking about so for clearance you
26:17
want uh you want this area above you want to make sure that stuff can slide in and out and then right here there's a
26:25
lip so if you can imagine this is the drawer and this is your uh floor of your
26:32
van you want uh you want this lip right
26:37
there to not be scraped up uh by the drawer you don't want the
26:42
drawer rubbing right there so you want to make sure that this um
26:48
height that this height right here cannot draw it
26:56
tonight uh let's use this you want to make sure that this height right there is adequate
27:03
to pull the whole entire drawer out so what I'm talking about
27:09
is so right here there's a piece of trim so we want to make sure that when
27:14
the drawer pulls out that this does not hit the trim which is that's pretty obvious but remember if I pull this out
27:21
I also have stuff underneath here that can grab on it so I want to that noise
27:28
you hear that is actually the locks kicking in but if there's any sag which there's
27:35
a little bit of deflection I mean maybe like an eighth of an inch uh but that little bit of a
27:41
deflection you don't want it rubbing on this piece of trim because over time
27:47
it's going to scratch it up and uh you're not going
27:53
to be happy with that but what you can do is when you you bolt it to the van
27:58
you can use washers to shim it up if you have a clearance issue so something to
28:04
think about uh let's kind of keep going here uh we got two more answers really
28:12
quick and then we will close it out so if you guys have any questions that are watching the live stream feel free to
28:17
ask away um so the last two are enhanced
28:24
storage efficiency with a heavy duty drawer slide for your camper van and the way you're going to do this is
28:31
like that photo we saw on Amazon where they were uh utilizing the space underneath
28:39
the um the seats right here that is really the benefit of these full
28:45
extension heavy duty drawer slides is that you can use that that back area uh for
28:53
storage and then by sizing the drawer uh slide a prop appropriately you won't have to stress over the drawer failing
29:00
due to excess weight unlike a regular drawer slide so that is exactly what I
29:05
was talking about earlier where because we put the six grade A
29:11
bolts in we can take this out we can load it up you know we can really use
29:17
this for uh the load rating that's intended for just makes it nice and
29:24
safe and then uh last but not least we have uh understanding the material used So
29:30
when you buy these drawer slides you're going to definitely want to make sure this is made out of steel um I don't
29:36
think I've ever seen an aluminum drawer slide but you know you want this to be
29:41
steel um it might be I think this is what zinc plated or something like that
29:47
um and then these drawer slides use heavy duty ball bearings so if you don't know what ball bearings are they are
29:53
steel balls in there and those steel balls are what are
29:58
creating that sliding surface so they're
30:04
allowing they're allowing everything in here to move nice and
30:10
smooth so they move smooth but because they're so large they can withstand the
30:16
pressure so that um if you've ever had an old kitchen drawer and it's hard to
30:21
open up uh that mean usually the guides are worn down so when you increase the
30:29
weight those plastic guides you cannot you can't use those you have to get you have to use these uh steel balls now
30:38
they're in a uh a plastic uh Carriage if you if you want
30:45
to call it that and that's just to keep the balls from you know rolling all over the place but the plastic is not
30:50
carrying a load that guides the balls it the balls are the only thing that are uh carrying
30:56
the load in this drawer slide so uh while I'm thinking about it when
31:02
you had this drawer slide uh we might be talking about how to install these in a later video but if I open this up do you
31:09
see how we start to have um we have these
31:16
holes if you can see that hole right there so Watch What Happens see how there's a bunch of holes
31:22
moving so make sure that you have some type of little window like this on the
31:28
drawer slide so that when you go to slide it out to put the uh screws in to mount your drawer that you have some
31:35
type of easy way to do
31:44
that so what you should be aiming for is a heavy duty construction that uses ball
31:49
bearings um and like I said I'm partial to the lockin door slides so there
31:55
safety and then opting for a steel construction um and then almost all of
32:02
these have a lifetime warranty on them so for example this
32:09
one it has uh where' It
32:17
Go 30 years service life maybe it was the other
32:26
brand so this one has a lifetime
32:31
warranty um it it'll take a long time for these to fail as long as you don't overload them
32:38
which uh they do make uh you know different uh pound load ratings if you
32:43
don't need a 500lb drawer slide so just kind of keep that keep that in
32:50
mind but yeah that's going to do it uh for this live stream I'm going to talk about two more things we're going to
32:56
talk about the DIY van build cheat sheet and then we're also going to talk about this van behind me which is
33:03
currently for sale from Odyssey custom vans so we're going to uh let's check
33:09
out the DIY van DIY van build cheat sheet really
33:25
quick yeah so if you guys are just now coming on the stream if you have a question put that in the comments below
33:30
um we got about five more minutes left of this one and if you miss us today you can catch
33:36
us up uh next time we do a live stream hey Nick how's it
33:47
going so DIY vble cheat sheet we talked about it a little bit at the beginning of the live stream but it's essentially
33:53
a Excel sheet that has the last three years of all of my shop purchases from
33:59
Amazon and what I've done is I've organized them into a let's get this uh
34:06
to a normal size here here we go I've organized this into
34:14
a list with the Amazon link uh this also helps out the channel so we really do appreciate you guys checking this out
34:21
using it um but there's a lot of great stuff in here we've got cargo storage
34:28
electrical items such as DC todc um uh converters for example this these
34:36
are used when you need to increase the amperage uh of a circuit such as a high-
34:41
powerered USB device uh we've got Renegy dcddc Chargers um we've got solar panels
34:48
on here in the Solar section we've also got Fasteners this is all the stuff I use for 8020 in the van uh we've got Max
34:56
air fans that we've used uh insulation uh stuff in the kitchen stuff
35:01
on the roof like these scan strut uh deck seals that we use to relocate the
35:07
for Transit uh satellite antenna uh a little bit of security items solar like I was talking about
35:14
earlier and my favorite part of this is the tools so these are tools that I use
35:19
um uh all the time I use the uh pneumatic crimping tools from Amazon to
35:24
crimp all my lug connections or my big two out 4 out lugs as well as my six
35:31
gauge and uh also we got a couple of water system components in here uh this
35:37
is a living document so it's always we're always adding components to it um we've got more that'll be coming on this
35:43
list uh including the drawer slides that we talked about today but if you want to get this uh DIY van build sheet sheet
35:50
delivered right to your inbox just click on the download link and put your email in it's going to come straight to your
35:56
inbox it's completely free and I think it'll really help you guys out with your DIY van
36:02
conversion last but not least let's talk about Odyssey custom vans so the van behind me which is in this
36:09
photo this is the van that we took to uh Venture van
36:14
Expo uh it is currently for sale we have two systems that we are finalizing uh
36:20
the install so the water system is going to be finished this week so we're going
36:25
to make sure we record board do a little tutorial on how we do that so we have
36:31
the water system and then we have the panels that are going to go over the
36:36
power system and the water system we're going to get those completed uh we'll go ahead and hook up our fuel line to the
36:44
wo heater and we will install our uh 120
36:50
volt uh breaker panel that's connected to the inverter and then we'll go ahead
36:55
and um put in our uh household power outlets um that
37:02
have all been pre-wired in the van and we got a couple of cool graphics that go
37:07
in the van so they're going to be these uh topographical map Graphics which are
37:14
pretty cool look like that and uh we'll have like a minimal Odyssey custom Vans
37:21
logo on them I think this is the one for the hood where actually going to do this on
37:28
the hood of the van as
37:34
well so once that's all finished we will get back to um yeah doing a full detailed walk
37:42
through the van if you want a sneak peek of what it looks like uh right now um
37:48
and the way that we actually took it to the uh Adventure vent Expo in Chattanooga Tennessee you can check out
37:54
this video where we do a full walk through of of all the components we even go on top of the roof look at the
38:01
solar right here we have all of the descriptions of all the interior components in the van all the systems
38:07
the power system the hidden shower that's inside the van as well as the max
38:13
fan the dedic RTX 2000 um and then the 600 amp hours worth of battery uh we also have a 3,000 watt
38:20
pure sine wave inverter with Shore power connection that is a 30 amp
38:25
connection we get F fiama f45s awning with a rigid Amber scene light on the
38:31
side to use for entry exit at nighttime uh all the windows are CR Lawrence
38:37
windows with they're the awning style so that's going to allow you to uh tint the
38:43
window in and out in the back um you can kind of have it cracked if it is raining outside which is I think you know much
38:49
better than um the sliding window so they're both all tilt uh awning style
38:55
windows and then right here we'll have those Graphics as well as the
39:02
Hood um yeah a lot of bamboo Cabinetry we get the isotherm Cruise 130 stainless
39:08
steel fridge super nice freein uh flip and fold seat for two additional
39:14
passengers hidden shower pan in the floor and this does have the adventure
39:20
wagon interior kit and then we opted for the bamboo ceiling option uh which looks
39:26
really really nice and then on top we've got uh we're
39:34
able to fit the dedic 7500 uh vent fan so that's the one that
39:41
actually actually has on the automated temperature so above 78 degrees it'll automatically open vent the van until it
39:48
gets cooled down uh we got the RTX 2000 over there on the right and we still fit
39:53
420 watts of solar up there on a flatline vanco roof
40:01
rack we are using the Renegy one uh M1 controller and it has three
40:08
switches here so we have our interior lights we have our indirect lighting over the cabinets and then we have our
40:15
outside uh rigid industry scene light so super clean really easy to use the
40:21
controls in this van nothing is over complicated uh and but everything is
40:27
extremely well built as far as electrical goes then we have our um Lagoon table
40:35
Mount and uh yeah overhead shelf so once we get to um further in the van uh we'll
40:44
be doing these live streams and you guys can ask questions about the van as we get further into the components uh I
40:50
think the plumbing will be really nice for you guys because we did it on Thomas's van and we made a short video
40:56
um but but with this one you know we're using um a little bit bigger components we're using a 20 we're using a 40-gon
41:02
tank instead of a 20 gallon tank and then we've bumped up our hot water uh
41:08
storage to four gallons so uh yeah we'll walk through that and uh you can actually see you
41:15
know how this van is built if you're interested in purchasing it and if you are interested in purchasing this van um
41:21
you know there's still time to do a couple modifications before this is all sealed up
41:27
we have on the back of the van if I can zoom out here we're going to be insulating the
41:33
back doors to finish this out we're going to be installing uh Vander Moon storage on both of the doors which is
41:40
going to be really cool so that way if you're in bed you want to put your phone or clothes jackets uh you can store them
41:47
easily here without having to access um the overhead
41:52
storage yeah but happy to answer any of your questions um if you are interested in purchasing the van you can contact me
41:59
you go to sales Odyssey customs.com direct email or uh this is the office
42:05

42:37
photos here that I took um a couple weeks ago just to give you guys an update on everything that's going on um
42:45
there's a lot of build videos on this van that I have not yet edited so I'm excited to do that but I wanted to give
42:51
you guys some feedback on what's happening in real time uh yeah but other than that that's
42:57
going to do it for the live stream uh if you guys have any questions put those in the comments below I'll be happy to uh
43:04
answer them in a future video uh don't forget to subscri subscribe and like this video If there's
43:10
somebody that could use this video to help them with installing their own drawer slides in their van um share the
43:16
link to them I think it'll really help them out but until next time I will see you guys on the next live
43:25
stream [Music]
